Piano Solo: The Weakest Link (Opening Cue)

Requested by another RU-vid user, this short piano solo is my simplified piano take on the opening cue to "The Weakest Link," the first game show of its kind to have a hostile host (Anne Robinson) clearly disgusted with everybody around her. She also hosted the original US version in addition to the many years she spent hosting the UK version. When her US version came to an end, a syndicated version with George Gray made its debut. (George now announces for "The Price is Right.")
In 2020, a new version debuted in the US with former "Glee" star Jane Lynch at the helm. Over in the UK, the current host is comedian Romesh Ranganathan.
I do not know if I will do any other parts of the soundtrack or not. It all depends on when inspiration strikes and what I am in the mood for doing.

Here are the eight players who will take part in tonight’s show. One of them will win up to one million dollars. The rest will leave with nothing as round by round they are voted off as The Weakest Link.

I'll see what I can do. I just need to figure out how to do it. I had a tough time figuring out the opening song.

I really love this. Thank you. I'm still disappointed about the current U.S. revival. Seems like it will never change or repair its damages. The only things about the U.S. revival that I find better than the U.K. revival are the set, the graphics, and the new music (remixed by Paul Farrer himself and also used in the U.K.).

You and me both seem to have the same opinions about the show. I have heard that Anne Robinson once said she didn't actually enjoy being mean to the players; it was all in the contract she signed.

@@LeotheTiger1234Well, it was true. However, as she got older, she notably did start acting nicer and more gentle to the contestants, which I'm glad. But her old age was also the reason she couldn't get back to host the 2021 UK revival.

I wondered about that. In 2017, she hosted a one-off special for the charity "Children in Need." The celebrities did as poorly as I had expected them to do. It surprised me to see her hosting Countdown later on. However, she isn't now.

@@LeotheTiger1234I see Anne wasn't the right fit for Countdown. I like Anne but I'm glad she decided to leave that show.
