I own KeyScape and think it is the best it has a lot of pianos and their Studio would be the one like the Ravenscroft. As far as piano VST's Keyscape and the ones in Logic and Rhodes VST are all I'm familiar with so a lot of my comparison is with my stage pianos builtin pianos. I've had Nord, Kronos, and Roland and and in general I like the Keyscape better than the builtins. Nord pianos I'm on the fence about some days I like them a lot or other days not so much, but even in the Nord I like their Yamaha C7 sample. Also as you mention Keyscape is more than just acoustic pianos it has quite a collection of electric pianos and variations, Clavinets and other keyboard instruments. Plus they are all tweakable. Gear videos are nice but prefer the ones on playing. For me the notes are what's important not the sounds.
Heyy awesome video how are you capturing audio sound from piano?? Using a phone camera? And if not how please assist and also how do you make it clean when making piano videos
What do I need on my computer to use these plugins? Are they standalone or do I need a software to run them? I have a Roland fp30x with built in audio interface and a usb cable to connect it to my pc. Thanks!
Ravenscroft, first piano library I felt that wasn't a sample (like Grandeur and even Noire), the response is very good, and the mic variations are very pleasing.
Can I just buy the Grandeur and use it w/ my Yamaha CP4 or ROLAND as a Controller like I do with other Plug-ins? Or do I need to buy a separate MIDI CONTROLLER? Thx in advance, George
@@GeorgeAmodei21Hey George, you can absolutely use your CP4. As long as you have your keyboard properly routed, you can have it control any software instrument.
Your channel has really helped me a lot bro! May God bless you, and equip you to continue doing this amazing work! Much love from Cape Town, South Africa! Definitely looking for more content from you on gospel sounds!
I have all of them. Pianoteq used to be my go-to piano solution. Now, I pretty much rock with Native Instruments Noire most of the time. I do not really care for Alicia's Keys even though I have it as part of Komplete 14 Collector's version. For anything with an electric piano... Keyscape is head and shoulders above the others mentioned in this video. As for Ravenscroft 275, I don't even have it installed anymore. That goes for Garritan Abbey Road CFX too. I wish that I could have gotten my money back on those last two and a bunch more (I'm talking to you, VI-Labs and Gospel Musicians etc...)
KeySuite bundle Augmented Piano Ravenscroft by UVi Noir &Grandeur&Giant by NI forever bro❤ But keys by keyscape and augmented piano by Arturia too much goodness ❤
This is great. Thanks! Sound is secondary to me (they all can pass generally) as I’m more concerned about which most feels like a piano (classical piano) and the best midi keybed that emulates an actual piano (preferably wood keys). My goal is to replicate an actual piano.
it s my favorite too but its really hard to get it clean sounding after bouncing from logic pro x , it always sound like saturated even if i keep the velocity low any tips ?
Im gonna save someone a lot of time here. I have all these vsts, and the best piano for live playing is……. Sampletekk TBO MKII YEP! the nord sample bank!
keyscape sampling from yamaha C7 of course warmer, but not always best for every performance and record, ravenscroft also really good and feels more clear, the others i don't really like, of course its all nice, but i will prefer those other if i there's no keyscape or ravenscroft..
Which keyboards support VST's? What type of keyboard are you playing on in the video? Also, Im thinking I need a computer or laptop too. Right? Man, I'm poor.
Desktop will give more bang for the buck. I built my own (13th gen) i7 on a ASROCK motherboard, 32GB RAM and 1TB Samsung SSD. Cost me about $1000 USD, to buy a laptop close to these specs would cost $4-5K.
@@lundswedenI love having Windows but the problem with a Desktop is that its a giant box that you would have it lug around. Plus I would want to have mainstage, which Windows, sadly does not have. And for me, I like using it for church and stuff in my mini studio so I mean…
Alicia's keys sounds that good because of your playing. Not a good piano for Jazz. The tone of it is just too strong for me. Ravenscroft is da bomb! Keyscape has an edge of realism that is fantastic. Still like Ravenscroft a bit more though.
Me too, it's supports have pedaling, tuning the velocity like may make it even, sound close to the nord piano. It's playability is unique, buh keyscape also has depth in it's sound, just that I like the lows are too much, or maybe it's from my headphones 🎧🤷🏾♂️
@@thegiftedhandsmusicSorry I typed Keyscape by mistake . I don't even know what the other presets sound like . I meant to say Ravenscroft is the best ! It is so rich !! I really like the Ravenscroft tone .
U mentioned that u often use Kontakt stuff for productions. I’m curious your opinion why that is? I thought these sounded amazing, but do they not translate well in mixes?
