Close to Brasov, is the Piatra Mare Mountain range. One way to reach the peaks of this beautiful range, is to hike up through the 7 ladder canyon. This is popular hike during the warmer months and rightly so. The canyon is an incredible experience and the ladders make the ascent both easier and more interesting. The peak offers immaculate views of Brasov and the surrounding mountains. This hike should be considered by all all nature lovers spending some time in or around Brasov. Romania is a country that continues to amaze me.
