PIBE LIFE is a short documentary series showcasing cancha stories and football culture in Argentina. This is the first edition in which we crossed the "Rio de la Plata" towards Uruguay to feature el Manya, el Carbonero, el Aurinegro, el Mirasol, or simply Peñarol.
In the outskirts of Montevideo, the "Campeón del Siglo" stadium is home to Peñarol, where the Barra Ámsterdam fills with Manya supporters. Creator of the Copa Libertadores - the most important competition in South America and 5-time winner, as well as 3 Intercontinental Cups. Nicknamed as Carbonero for the importance of the coal industry back in 1891 when the club was funded. Legends like Fernando Morena, Nestor "Tito" Gonçalves, Alberto Spencer and Diego Forlán - to name a few - have worn the black and yellow shirt.
