You have forgot to add that the documentation (Datasheet) calls it interrupt which is very confusing! honestly the documentation says activating the timer is starting an interrupt I think what they need to say or call it an un-mascable interrupt!

Why do you address your audience as if they are children? You seem to be unaware of the fact that people's time is valuable. No one likes a smart ass. Keep the smart comments to yourself and teach the lesson. That will be more than enough. Thanks for the meaningful content.
