About the looking away part: It’s true, because when i stare at someone trying to approach, it makes me awkward, like we are supposed to look at each other at close distance, and then dap, but if you looked at someone already (like your eye contacted already), it’s over. Not only it will be obvious at far distance, that you are about to approach faster, and forcibly dap up, but also looking away will feel like you are disrespecting them
