Before when we heard this theme it would fill the viewer with dread because it was the theme of the demon king, now, that very same former foe is trying to protect the planet and avenge the deceased people of orange town Cell killed. That would have given me chills
There are some themes where you don't need to watch the video with your eyes or listen to the voice in order to know that Piccolo has just showed up XD
He's my favourite character, too. In the german version he got the german voice of Johnny Depp and I like that very much how it fits to Piccolo. That's very unique nowadays on german TV that an anime character is spoken by a hollywood star-voice. :-)
I saw Dragon Ball after seeing Z and GT, I always found it strange for them to refer to Piccolo as "Junior", sort of reminded me of Indiana Jones whenever his father called him Junior 😅😅😅😅

See, this song is why the re-dubbing of the anime made me sad. My first memory of this song was with the line "Goku, it looks like you could use some help." in the movie 'Deadzone' 's first airing on Toonami. It is such a powerful and epic theme, and it is so impossible to find. Thanks for keeping the memory alive.
Thanks, this is the real theme song of Piccolo. It was hard to find it on youtube because there's a lot of piccolos themes, but all they are totally wrong.
First off, at what point am I ever raging? Secondly there doesn't need to be a constructional response. If someone thinks it suits them better it suits them better in their opinion. You can't argue against that.
This fits how Piccolo was earlier on in the series, when he wanted to take over the world and kill Goku, but his dub theme fits his later characterization better.
- with the implementation of the piccolo and kami characters, toriyama somewhat responds to the challenge presented by this emergent ideological juxtaposition. it's interesting to think of others thinking of god, satan and probably christ as meddling green men with a b-team influence rating, one of those things that makes cultural survey fun.
