A friend and I travelled on the gorgeous vintage Coffee Pot Train (part of the Pichi Richi Tourist Train "family", from Quorn to Woolshed Flat in South Australia on May 19th 2024. I videoed sections of the ride while my husband and my friend's partner also videoed the train passing them at various vantage points along the way. After the train passed them they jumped in the cars to get in front of the train ready at the next vantage point to video again. The Coffee Pot is believed to be the only one like this remaining in the world, and does only 3-4 tourist journeys a year. So if you want to "jump on board" you need to go to the Pichi Richi website and book early to guarantee a seat. We swapped with our men for the journey back to Quorn and I videoed the train returning to Quorn. An excellent day out, and the catered 3 course lunch was superb.
