Lexi, for pile 2, the "shield" energy you were picking up was about me hiding who I truly am and dimming my light to blend in with others, instead of radiating my true inner beauty outward in total confidence & shamelessness to the world. I grew up learning that, in order to get love, i needed to fit into a certain set of standards; into a mold...I learned quickly what it took for me to gain acceptance and love from my mother...if I was to be worthy of love, and not harshly criticized/condemned/judged for being myself, I needed to suppress who I was and just agree with her. Pretending her points of view were my own. Which stifled my ability to develop my own opinions. So much that, I carried this entire mode of being into all my other connections- friendships, romantic relationships, etc. Always being a chameleon in ways, subconsciously..always being as "agreeable" as possible. Because I had no idea that this way of "connecting" with others was something I developed through my childhood...and it stayed this way into my teens and even my late 20s, not ever showing people the true most authentic Me. I still shined, people have always been drawn to me, but I was so dimmed by this false persona which I had no idea I’d accidentally cultivated as a result of my upbringing. When I hit 30, my Saturn return ripped away literally everything in my life. I lost it all. My father died, I left my career, my boyfriend cheated on me and dumped me, I lost my home, I lost my creative spark, even my belongings were locked away in someone else’s storage which I had no access to, in a different city. I was stripped of everything I knew myself to be and of everything of value that I had. It all happened in the blink of an eye. I woke up one morning and literally had the realization that I didn’t know who I was...I didn’t even know what I liked anymore, down to the simplest things, like my preferences in music. It was like waking up, "blank." ...for the past 10 years, I have been cultivating this completely different life than before, starting from the complete bottom as a blank slate of a human being and rebuilding myself as the REAL me, fully authentic and confident in who I am, shining brightly, giving zero fucks if people like who I am or not. Because what makes me "me," is unique and beautiful. It is worth being shared, and should never be hidden away. And I hope that anyone reading this, can take something useful from it. Be who you are. Stand proud and strong. You can and will get through anything in life, I promise you. Hold strongly to the belief that things are happening for a reason and WILL get better...dont ever let go of that belief. It took me TEN YEARS to get to the point I’m at now, where I’m able to live freely and joyfully again. In those 10 years, I never once let go of the belief that things were destined to improve, even when I was laying in bed, completely destitute, for weeks at a time, and in complete isolation from other people.
