I was there. They had done a few Allmans tunes pretty well, but when it became apparent these bluegrass and country stalwarts were starting "Whipping Post", one of the great jam songs ever, I turned to my daughter and said sarcastically, "Yeah, right!". A minute or two later, I was dancing joyously, and by the end, I was in a state of shock. This was a great moment!
