Thanks for this well produced and great demo good player. I finally completed my Fender collection I have a 1964 Tremolux with 1962 fender 2x10 tremolux cabinet with original speakers. Really enjoying this sound while my amp is getting ready for me, looking forward to hearing mine when its all ready for me.
The ‘61 Tremolux was the favorite amp I ever owned. Blonde with Oxblood cloth, Tube biased Trem, Brown circuit, cabinet had a 10 (replaced with a 12) instead of two 10’s...great amp. Warmer tone than this one. Miss that one 😢
You can get both pickups by easing into the #2 (notch) position, just before the center switch position ... usually out of phase right there. Center switch is neck/treble; all the way forward, is neck/bassy.
Usually Broadcasters, Nocasters, and Early Blackguard (52-54) Telecasters especially if they are in are in good clean and Original condition are between $75k and $150k. Not surprising that this one even with a partial refret is over $100k. Still beautiful guitar tho. If I win the lottery first stop is Emerald City Guitars😂
The very clean examples sound bright and cold like this one. They are stiff; not players guitars, they are investor guitars. Buy a beat-up rough one - a fraction of the price, and guaranteed it will sound much better!
The proof is right here in their own video: the beaten-up NoCaster sounds sweeter and warmer, darker. The others sound more like new guitars do. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HoLPhEppLdU.html
