At the end of the day no one can run away from their shadow.😀 see how the Shadow just revealed everything going on behind the washing of the bitterleave scene.😀. Safe trip back beautiful mama. Kisses to the kids❤
My dear Florence, I like your videos. I heard your Aunty say she was fasting when you asked her to taste the bitter leaf; that tells me you are a Christian woman. That's very good. Thanks for all the time you take to share your cooking experiences.
I find africa culture is very beautiful.I haven't been there for years. I like the shop outside and how they are selling. I find that europe is always in state. I wish I could go back and live there but my parents want to stay here in europe.
Good JOB my sister FLO, all this Nigeria food is very helpful to us in obodo oyinbo, it save us lots of money, and they are fresh too. Please buy a lot.
Thank you Flo for the video. Pls how did you pack the foodstuffs in your luggage.did you pack them in a separate luggage or check in luggage ,how did you do it.I need to know pls.thanks
LOL! Thank you so much. :) I live a simple life, that's my secret. I already made a video on what I eat and don't eat. Here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bEn7aq_Cby8.html I plan to make another video on my lifestyle.
Oh my! Fresh bitter leaf where art thou 😭. Sis, what else do you do with groundnut apart from boiling and eating? Did you buy that freezer bag in Nigeria?
Yes, you can buy it from Shoprite. These ones in the video, I took with me when travelling to Nigeria because shoptite is far from my house. If you prepare the onugbu one week before then you have to make sure it is frozen all the time while you are still in Nigeria else it will start smelling.
@@FloChinyereo.k!!!!! now I understand more.O.k thanks for d zipper bag information. I asked to kn in case becos it is necessary to kn all these things.I ave searched to kn which Nigerian food German pple accept to travel with but I did find it.Can u pls help me to find it.Someone asked but I couldn't find it.
Groundnuts nke a bụ ndị ezigbo. Red and 3 seeded. Well-done as usual. I'm now over ready to go to Naija. I'm equipped with the knowledge I get here. Thanks ma.
Nice! I need to know if you declare fresh vegetables or any foreign food stuffs at the airport in Spain cos the city I live in, in US, demands that we declare all those things so that if you are picked randomly for checking and they find something you didn't declare, those things will be discarded. Issa serious something. I can't wait for part 2!
The last time I took fresh bitter leaves, it got rotten by the time I got home in the US. I was mad. Maybe because I didn't freeze. Light no kuma dey lol I go with dried ones now. We have bitter leaves in our backyard in naija. Just pluck the amount you need, do the washing and dry it out before hand. Not an easy something.
Oh, pity that. Yes, they need to be frozen. When I was taking dry ones my Mum would buy washed ones and dry them even before we get to Nigeria. Same with other dry food stuff like ukwa etc. I'll talk about these in my next video.
Sorry about that dear I ran out of Luck more than twice and i became wiser If you do not want it frozen, you can spread it wide on a clean Nylon and half dry at least two days or a day to your departure Inside the house,it reduces the water and still gives you that Brand of Fresh bitterleaf you needed
Also, my dear sister Flo, What do you think about eating Ulo (edible clay) is it healthy? Do you eat any kind of edible clay? I love the earthy smell but I'm not sure if to eat it.
Please I think that's a nice question and I desperately need an answer cos am pregnant and all I feel like eating is ulo#edible clay# please is it gud for a pregnant woman. Thanks
@@oliviaanumba Emilia Rose, darling, Pica is the desire to eat INEDIBLE things. Edible clay is so called for a reason. Have you never heard of bentonite clay? It has edible forms that are safe to eat. I drink it from time to time, in my toothpaste and as a detox clay mask. Augustine Babe, if ur body craves edible clay, eat a bit of it at a time. Warm hugs to all!
I took these ones with me from Spain because I did not know if I would have time to go buy them from Shoprite, Spar etc. But yeah, they are also available in Nigeria at the big supermarkets.
I have no idea, I do not live in the States. Frozen bitter leaves is a tricky one because it is not really fresh as in fresh leaves so you will need to try it once (small quantity) and see what they say.
Now I can buy cocoyam where I live so I don't bring it anymore. When I used to bring cocoyam from Nigeria, I brought the powder: dried and ground into powder. My Mum used to buy it from one woman that dries and grinds it.
Safe trip back Aunty Flo. Your love for onugbu felt just like my mum. She can go to Mars with Onugbu.. Real Anambra woman. Aunty biko share the Onugbu seller's contact, I want to get Onugbu for my wedding in 2 weeks.
Ehhhe? Congratulations! Origokwe eru. And you need to give her some time (a few days) to buy and wash it. Please can you DM me on Instagram or email me: contactus@allnigerianrecipes.com I don't know how she will feel about her number being out here in the open. Yes o, I love me some well washed bitter leaves not that parboiled bitter one they sell in Lagos markets. :D
Wow, that's great, Biko hope you bought what you will use to prepare (AGBAGHERU ATUENYE) We usually call it agbaratii,, lol,, its like moi moi but made of egusi, like balls. I knew that food when I was small, (it was a senior joke them) lol i use to buy it for my grandfather but now is went home I couldn't even see it at the market again,, Biko can we get how to do it,,,o really want to taste it again. Thanks,,
LOL Traditional man Donatus! I have a video of ogbaroti on my channel but I did not wrap it with leaves. You can prepare it in a similar way adding other ingredients you fancy then wrap it with leaves, tie with a food safe string and cook like Moi Moi. Chai o, I need to get my grandma's recipe for that. Here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yUYRpN11jVk.html
It paid the N2,500 we agreed on in the Aguda Market video, the day I made the booking: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yH1kCrOq7wA.html

Ifunanya I don't know if she would like her number to be put out here in the open. Please send me an email: contactus@allnigerianrecipes.com or DM me on Instagram and I will give you her number.
Nice video Sis. The bitter leaves look very fresh. Have you heard of Achicha also known as monkey kola? Is very nice, though not common but people that know it or tasted like it because is power packed. If you don't about it, do good to check out my channel to see how it looks like.
