I picked up a little English when I lived in USA for almost 10 years Paul but that was a long time ago then I had to come back to my country and now I'm brushing up on it 😮
You probably picked up more than a little English if you lived here for ten years; however, it depends on what you did here every day and how much interaction there was between you and other people.
@@Learnamericanenglishonline Hi Paul, how's it goin' ? I was checking out my English videos and I came across with this one and I think you might be right Paul BUT I used to speak it regularly 'cause I spoke Spanish too, which is my mother tongue, let's say that I used to speak English 50% of the time and Spanish the other 50% of the time. Maybe I picked up more than a little English, like you said (texted), but I think I've forgotten a little bit too 'cause I've been out of practice that's why I'm subscribed to your channel and some other ones but anyway I'm sure I'll be brushing up on it if I remain subscribed to your channel.
You know my new website (English for the Planet) gets a lot of traffic from Brazil. My old website also received a lot of visitors from there. I wonder why so many people from Brazil go to the website or want to learn English.
Perhaps you meant to say this: I picked up a load the day before yesterday. / I picked a load up the day before yesterday. I think the first version sounds better.
