Dude that absolutely rocks .!!. I've been looking for an inexpensive plowing machine for a while. Living in SWest Colorado at 7000feet we get some snow. Being on disability I can't afford a new one but around here people don't just give up on the old ones. Nice find 👍
I had the 2001 XT model Yellow. Sold it a few years ago. They are built like a tank, so strong. Best snow plowing ATV. I have plenty videos on my channel driving mine over the years.
First : Amazing that was aquired FREE ! Good for you ! Second : The added spring was very odd . Third : God Damn , it pulled that camper like a champ , nice machine right there !
For engines with cartridge filters or oil filters on top like that, pull the coil wire and turn them over a few times after you drain the pan. It’ll transfer the rest of the oil to the pan and you get a more complete change and no mess.

Almost forgot: on your hitch, looked like when you got the machine it didn’t have a hitch? If you have a source for that, I’m having a tough time finding a hitch to fit the axle. Thx!
Something like this might work for you then. The step through design makes it a lot easier to get on and off. The bombardier quest had a similar design but the cut out did not go as far down.
@rockspowersports Unfortunately I bought a diesel gater 4x6 and a polaris ranger. The ranger is a 2010. 450 hours and everything is wore out. Currently rebuilding all of suspension. Kinda like buying a camper,never do that again.
Oh for sure! My neighbors have a small farm and they have one of these traxters. They really appreciate the step thru design when they need to get on and off a lot.
does anyone know where to get parts for this type of 4 wheeler? I have a yellow one, it doesn’t run, don’t know what is wrong with it. turn the key on it has power to the switch and head lights but didn’t do anything when I hit start button. Please help me out.

What’s up rock sold the arctic cat I told you about last year and picked up a quest 650xt for $400 with the side case hanging off it lol what’s you think of them
Honestly I haven’t had any of the Quest yet. Very similar to this traxter just different transmissions. They seem like solid wheelers. The guy I got this one from has a Quest 500 and absolutely loves it. He also has a 2023 Kawasaki brute force 750 and prefers driving the old Quest.
