Congrats on the Raleigh professional, awesome. Just acquired a mark 4 frameset myself on la Craigslist for $200 bucks, and it's my size. Just installed the nuevo record headset at the end of my shirt, 3/8 all-thread, 2 washers/bolts, turn towards and your good to go. Glad your on the mend John. A little advise: drink water, lots of water, drink it all day, at least 2 50oz bottles, ride hard and eat smart, no junk food, fruit, nuts, fish, rice, veggies, it will change your life! Been doing it for a year, went from 210-193lbs, tons of energy, perfect blood pressure (107 over 67 last week) and compared to a year ago I look completely different. I also regularly do a 12 mile sprint before work, that's a big part of it...

I've had my Cinelli for about 10yrs, and just got my Pro a few months back as a frameset. It's a work in progress, and coming along nicely!

so glad that you got it checked out and that your doctor was a smart one! ... and as a Raleigh nerd, I seem to recall that you already had a very nice Raleigh Pro Mark V. This Mark IV will be a nice addition, and I always liked the Mark IV better. There's just something cooler about the fastback seat stay arrangement, regardless of the fact that it really doesn't make any difference. The Raleigh track bike was nice too!

Hypertension was killing me slow in my late forties turning 50 . Been on meds and it's unbelievable what was going on before opposed to now . 53 in a month and I feel pretty good and move good . So it's back to work and put off the 80% pension from 25 @ UPS till I get in good lane again hopefully. I'm eligible to collect in two years but would have had 30 years of contributions if I hadn't resigned early...let's just say decisions were affected from untreated hypertension for years . So yah reminding folks is what I do and I'm thankful.......lost an aunt from the patriarch side and an uncle , one from the matriarch in 2020 , both heart attack stroke

Advice part 2: Also, I used to live in Wisconsin and I'm aware of the outdoor grilling culture, stay away from steaks and those oh so tasty but deadly Johnsonville brats, those things will kill you. If your a beer drinker, retire that too, drinking beer is kid's stuff and we're no longer kid's. Beer dehydrate you, bad beer! Do all these things John and you will be an energetic different person, I kid you not!👍👍👍
