@@KB-nz6bv lol it definitely says 'Written by Steve Carrell' in the opening credits of the episode. So unless there was another writer behind the scenes with the exact same name, he most certainly did.
I love how Michael does not even hesitate to say to Toby's face how much he hates him. No back-stabbing or gossiping, just straight up 100% honesty directly in his face. LOL
Toby is a violent, vindictive, manipulative, psychopathic, evil Snail. Remember when he said that he’ll kill Clarke? Remember when he groped Pam’s thigh, punched her leg, said he was leaving, and ran away? Remember when he ratted Jim out to Ryan? Some could say that he was just “doing his job”, but why not rat on everybody?
A mini fridge as in the mini version of regular fridges, which is already the mini version of freezer lockers?? Honestly where does it end with you people?!
Ever since the beauty of memeing has come and flowed into many different branches, dark memes can become funny, unless someone who is like Toby comes in and gets offended
I can't quite remember if this is true but I seem to remember that being a callback or a setup to a bit where it turns out Creed just eats at the soup kitchen himself
When Michael got lost after Jim left him at the station. We see at least two of Creed's picture on the wall with other freeloaders. He is probably thinking of that restaurant.
Why are you the way that you are? Honestly, every time I try to do something fun or exciting, you make it not that way. I hate so much about the things that you choose to be.
Probably my favorite Michael quote of all time, the genuine disgust in his face, the fact that he could have been so vulgar here and he wasn’t, the fact that he didn’t yell, he just gives off the vibe that Toby legitimately wears him down on a daily basis
Well as we know, Michael doesn't deal in reality; he's too busy trying to be liked, saying what he thinks people want to hear, promising things he can't deliver, and with no thought to future repercussions.
hes in hr and he is a writer that they just added into the show and he and Michael have a rivalry since diversity day when he tried to make his warm welcome a joke in michaels eyes and steal his thunder
He's ugly ? He looks fit actually, for his age. I meant because of the way he talks and behaves. Seems like a nice guy but something seems a little off.
Toby Flenderson why are you the way that you are? Honestly every time I try to do something fun or exciting, you make it not that way... I hate so much about the things you choose to be..
Actually the Michael Scott's Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-Am Fun Run Race For The Cure would have been the best option
LokiTetch he was more than just a basketball player jackass. he symbolized hard work, dedication, and inspired millions of people. why would you comment something like that after something so tragic happened to someone who meant so much to people? damn
The face Michael makes right after Toby finished speaking is a look of hatred so intense and profound. It's so bad that it transcends normal signs of anger, frustration and utter contempt one person can have towards another. Michael hates Toby so much that his hatred has broken him mentally and he has trouble expressing the level of hatred he feels towards him
The best part of the bit. One of those Office moments you quickly forget about first time viewing it. Then you watch a clip of it years later, and it almost feels like watching a bit of The Office for the first time again.
"Actually I didn't think it was appropriate to invite children since there's, uh, you know, there's gambling and alcohol. And, it's in our dangerous warehouse. And it's a school night. And, you know, Hooters is catering. Is that enou... is that enough? Should I keep going? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
this is the scene that hooked me to this gem of a series! I can't remember where the hell I saw it, I think it was here on youtube, and it was a very low quality clip, on 240p for sure around 2007. And i thought "what the hell is this, I gotta look it up".. One of the best decisions of my life! xD
Lol I feel like this was the final straw for Michael. He gave Toby a chance to be a part of the family and let him do what he wants but he made the “wrong choice” and became forever tainted.
What made the scene even funnier to me was at 1:35, where the camera just zooms in on Michael's face, as you can tell he is getting more and more angry with Toby
Phyllis: “Afghani” Michael: “What?” Phyllis: “AFGHANI” Michael: “No, that’s a dog” Pam: “That’s Afghan” Michael: “That’s a shawl.” One of my many favorite lines.
