one thing I like about your videos like these (showcasing of the different classes) is that you’re unbiased (okay fine you always promote DS, Shade, and Paladin as the best classes but let’s ignore that for now-), you always make every class sound both good in combat and fun to play, like you will highlight their flaws but still manage to make the class sound appealing nevertheless and worth the time and effort of playing. kudos for your work as always 🙌
@@GodOfMechas I think that was what I decided on (i like the damage boost for certain mobs too) I have both at 200 and wanted to focus on one and throw some free nx gear on it too
instead of "Picking A Main | All Pirate Classes", my philosophy is "Picking a main: All pirate classes." I've been obsessed with these flashy lil guys ever since learning about bucc and sair release in KMS. I love all of them significantly more than any other class, they're so much fun!
I havent played in a while nor have I played the destiny update but here's something to consider. Corsair is the second(?) least played class so if you wanna be hipster that's pretty cool. I only got to around 232 and I was ranked 151 in reboot.
can nexon or steam i dunno make it possible to move gun potential to a claw? 10 lv diff for the weapons thing, I changed my Jett to Night lord and oh man i regret it, I thought I'll be given a gear set but no and if I'd knew it before I'd change to Corsair . he looks so good here man ..
The one thing i dont like about corsairs and whats keeping me from playing one is that their up jump is a button in it self, makes the class feel very clunky compared to the rest.
@@marcusjohansson3040 true . I personally summons my helpers below to deal damage while I grind above . Corsair is not suitable in mobbing map with many floors
@@jonathanberry8656 true phantom is really bad. But I'd like to see them tweak the others as well. Not a huge overhaul like explorers but maybe like the Cygnus update
As angelic main with 30k+ stat I can say it’s a fun but clunky class. With enough dmg you just hold soul seeker and clear whole map meaning you can grind with one finger while watching videos on the side. Tons of full map clear skills make it easy to exhaust spawns even with totem on. Problem is her bossing… with decent skills you will have 10-15 buffs to keep an eye on(3/4 of them could easily be a passive which is super irritating), her skills lock her in place(soon the trinity change will help but still super bad), her hyper and 5th job skills are all for burst and if you cast them in succession, by the time you cast last burst buff, the first one already expired… Probably the biggest problem is that she has 2 cash inventory’s for outfits meaning you will spend your hard earned mesos sniping cool looking outfit pieces in ah for the fashion double drip😭 Jokes aside id wait till they do rework on her in Korea, unless dead set. Amazing lazy grinding if you are funded but yeah takes like 25-30k stats with solid arcane force to 1shot clp with soul seeker.
21k AB.... I cannot for the life of me solo CVel, mostly because trinity locking me in place and trying to maintain buffs. HMag is easy though, there's enough lives/it's easier to stay alive to 2 bind+burst him. mobbing is fun though, even if soul seekers can't 1 shot. tons of mobility and like 4 or 5 full screen nukes.
@@dedel2368 I know it’s doable but I want to play my character not stare at buff bar non stop and tackle with long cast animations. Most of those buffs could easily be turned passives or made neater to use
Little correction, I didn’t actually know they mixed some of the updates in destiny in gms. A lot of angelic buffs were moved to passives, even with most decent skills now double slot auto pet buff will cover all of it. There will be just burst and luck of draw to keep an eye on. Also trinity less clunky, hold down skill, easier to cancel and dash away. Some solid qol and complains I had addressed 💪
Nice to see someone who actually understands what's so great about Cannoneers Monkeys! Tho I do appreciate the small qol updates and extra damage we got in destiny. Being able to shoot all 3 rockets at once makes the burst much smoother, and also makes more hits fit into the rather short window of AB link skill
Why I recommend Buccaneer for bossing 1. Only need one set of boost nodes for bossing Octopunch, serpent rage, anything here 2. Third job gives two passives that boost crit rate to over 100% when bossing. Saves links and legion space. 3. 4 i-frames in your fifth job skills: The second part of howling fist Every time you create an orb with lightning form*, up to 3 times. 4. Lord of the deep
Is he actually good at bossing? I was trynna clear easy cygnus (lvl205 none of my gear is higher than like unique or past 11*) and kept getting just blasted. Like i would take the most random damage and felt uber squishy. Not gonna compare it to my shadower, but even my nightwalker felt better to boss with. bucc just felt like i was perpetually melting.
Pirate class is a class that change thru time the most : - Buccaneer started as a semi DPS and mid range class , and now its into a this well rounded character that is jack of all traits - Corsair started as this DPS with battle ship because rapid fire did less damage, and now its this crazy pirate summoner with high DPS and very good mobbing - Cannnoneer at launch was this overpower class on mobbing , okay at bossing , and gives decent buffs. The first class with link skill and with expanded equipment slots. Currently there are this class that is all about lines - Jett started as this class that has copy skills from other classes but using their skin lol. Currently Jetts its like this mix bag of a class that for now its actually decent/good. It’s not “broken” but its not obsolete - Thunder breaker from been a copy paste of Buccaneer , but on their update , they become this combo class and change the yellow thunder with the blue thunder and also mix them both. - Mechanic started as the first class to have the so call “laser skill” with okay summons. They have like siege mode and more for bossing but it wasn’t that good due to been stuck and not moving. Now they are all about summons and its a very good farmer - Angelic Buster at released on 2012 was the most broken class. It could solo everything cuz it just hit damage cap so easily. Ever since then , they make AB more into a class that does insane damage output but not many lined. Insane at mobbing though - Shade is this support pirate class that looks like a perfect class for players that want DPS but also wanna be support. With a good bind , split souls , and having passive skills, its a well rounded class. - Ark its seeing as the counterpart of Kaiser in Pirate. Its like a combination of the old buccaneer transformation. Its pretty much the best pirate to play in GMS due to attack speed been different , and it skills are wonderful to boss and mob. It is though the hardest pirate to master and to pilot
Not to be rude coppersenpai, but there aren't any of these classes that lack a bind anymore in late game, now that erda nova is finally viable 10s bind on 120s cd at max :)
A class having its own bind is still a huge plus, since it means you don't have to designate a matrix slot for it, and having an slot for an extra boost or buff node is huge.
I’ve been maining Shadower for a while, & was thinking about switching to Corsair, but this video made me want to pick up Mech instead. I’ll check out a few more Mech videos before making my decision. Edit: I’ll complete CRA on my Shad, then switch over to Mech
Corsair has really weak defense for bossing (even with hp autopot pet available), but good burst damage even with less gears. I also love the mobbing skills and I feel its really good for farming coins event. Personally I dislike Mechanic's mobility, so it depends what you are looking for in your gameplay!
I love the cannoneer, one of my favorites since it's release. I love the voice lines "AHAHAHAHA I'M FLYING!" is my favorite. Named my latest StupdMonkey lol I suck at coming up with names
i dont think not having a class bind is relevant at all lol, dont only like 10% of all classes have their own binds? its not like having no i frame lol
It's interesting how Angelic busters story makes fun of the fact that the characters design is really stupid. Even they know that character is completely idiotic and really shouldn't be in this game. Her character is like trying to add a Space Marine in Animal Crossing. It doesn't fit the theme of the game.
I mean, kinda but not really. Technically counted as an explorer for some reason, but has very little in common with other explorers, and can't job change into other pirate classes
@@KovoN I mean maybe, but it's an explorer so why not mention him as one? Doesn't matter what arguments people are bringing up it was labelled as an explorer.
@@KovoN who cares about KMS? different company, some things are different, it really is a fact that they are explorers in GMS, and if you don't like it don't use the word "fact"...
leveling my jet to 200 was a chore since I made it right after the jett revamp so all the items I had on him were old. I now understand the usefulness of having a main that can boss and pick up easy items (outfitted him with full CRA gear (except for the weapon that I got as a surprise item) and got the Princess No secondary to go along with it.) Now....to figure out what class to burn.
