Can you tell me more about Maschine and why you use it instead of FL sometimes? And can you do an FL vs Maschine video, so that we know what it’s better for?
I stopped using Maschine. I liked using it before because I enjoy being tactile. But I moved onto FL just because most people use FL and I wanted to make tutorials. I am of the opinion that different DAWs can offer different workflows, but at the end of the day, they're just tools. How skilled you are is going to matter far more
@@thefinstasis This is absolutely not true, how are DAWs shaping sounds? Can you give me a single example of a song in which you can easily identify the DAW they used based on sound design? Also when Navie said he enjoyed the tacile nature of maschine he's most likely referring to how the program accompanies the physical piece of gear.
@@JuanRodriguez-wr5ew what I meant is that DAWs shape the workflow, and make you more likely to make certain decisions. For example, from what I've noticed, Abletone is more comfortable for automations than FL, and Abletone users may use more automations some of the time. Similarly, FL makes it easy to program intricate patterns, and I find FL producers doing crazier things with high-hats and stuff. You know what I mean. Pro Tools makes it more comfortable to mix, and you might find Pro Tools producers doing more interesting things with the FX chains.
Hey when your looking to sample a song etc what version should we be looking for to get the highest quality out the back end? I mean like the bitrate, kb, file size etc for example lets say im sampling a old lil wayne song and theres a bunch of versions on youtube I can grab it from, which would sound the best once the audio is ripped?
