Hey guys! A lot of y’all have been requesting a #wedding planning update... so here you GO! Several weeks ago, Asa, my mom, Brooklyn and I all toured wedding venues together! The first one we visited is a local venue called Knotting Hill Place (www.knottinghillplace.com) and we fell IN LOVE with it! The other two are called Hillside and Brighton Abby.
After touring the venues, you'll watch Asa and I put together my #bridesmaid #proposal boxes! I wanted something cute and creative to ask them with, so I ordered personalized wax seal stamp kits for each person. After working so long and hard on putting together the boxes, I think they turned out SO CUTE! Asa was very helpful! (best fiancé ever haha)
We traveled to Dallas and Louisiana in order to ask all 6 of my bridesmaids (including Paisley as my Junior Bridesmaid) and luckily all of them said YES! Any guesses on who my my Maid of Honor will be? Will it be my womb-mate Brooklyn, my sisters Kamri or Rylan, our employee and close family friend Sana, or my best girlfriend from high school? COMMENT BELOW!
Since each girl accepted my bridesmaid invitation, we decided to get their bridesmaid dresses on order for the upcoming wedding. Watching them all come out of those dressing rooms in those dresses felt like such a movie moment lol! I am seriously SO EXCITED!

I don’t understand why people are upset that Paisley received candy with her invitation! I was 9 years old when my sister got married, and I received a teddy bear alongside a card that said ‘Will you be my bridesmaid’. It was entirely appropriate as I wouldn’t have been interested in the jewellery and champagne glasses the other bridesmaids received. C’mon people lighten up! Paisley is going to be a beautiful bridesmaid and what is most important is that Bailey is going to have her sister stood right next to her on the most special day of her life! Materialistic things mean nothing when you get to experience such a joy as seeing your loved one get married! Lovely video, Bailey 💗💗💗

@@izzybaumgartner4537 Bailey made a post on Insta saying a lot of people thought it was un-fair Paisley got candy, however, she specifically asked for it. People were leaving hate comments and comments saying things like that. They had every right to do that. Imagine how horrible it feels for Paisley, Bailey, and Asa to hear these negative comments even if they are written respectfully. People were also saying she shouldn't be called " Junior Bridesmaids " however, Paise is 10, which means it's an appropriate term. People don't have to leave negative comments if they don't have anything else to say. :(

Bailey picked age appropriate gifts for her sisters. I’m not sure why it’s such a big deal that a 10 year old got candy instead of a stamp set. It’s the same way you wouldn’t give a 10 year old a wine glass. Not to mention, Paisley specifically asked for a special treat instead. We are lucky that they are being so transparent with the engagement and bringing us along for the journey. If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. For the record, I LOVED the gifts!

I was a junior bridesmaid at 12! I didnt receive the same gifts as my the actual bridesmaids who were 10+ years older than me because of age appropriateness, and the 6 year old flower girl received an age appropriate gift for her as well. People are so quick to judge and have an opinion on something that has absolutely nothing to do with them. If Bailey had asked us for suggestions or our thoughts, then I can see some of these comments being warranted, but they’re not at all.

I honestly think it is so cool and special that Paisley gets the title “Junior bridesmaid”! There is a pretty big age gap between them, and to not only be one of Bailey’s bridesmaids, but have a SPECIAL TITLE, in my opinion is great. I think what makes those of us disappointed about the situation is that we see things as there is nothing wrong with giving Paisley a wax stamp *in addition to* candy (which is what Paisley wanted). That way when all the bridesmaids look back on Bailey and Asa's wedding they all will have that emblem as a keepsake ya know? No hate, but thinking long term Paisley will grow to appreciate the personalized wax stamp when she's older.

That's not the point. She's a sister. A sister who is adopted and looks different to her other sisters. Perhaps it sits particularly badly with me because I'm adopted, and if I felt this left out, it would be absolutely devastating for me. Paisley is definitely old enough to receive the wax seal. This whole thing breaks my heart.

I was also almost the same age as Paisley when I was sister’s junior bridesmaid because I was significantly younger than her friends who are bridesmaids and that was totally ok!! I was too young to really appreciate what was going on 😂 and was just so happy to be part of the wedding! All love to your family!! So exciting ❤️

Yall are missing the bigger picture in this I think.. The fact that Bailey and Asa thought about including Paisley as a JUNIOR bridesmaid is brilliant and says enough about how much Pais means to them. I just wanna say that I am so proud of Paisley. I remember when I was in my aunts wedding as a junior bridesmaid and how much of an honor it is. Junior bridesmaid is so important because this role shows that you’re too mature for the flower girl but not old enough to actually be a “bridesmaid.” If I were you, I’d be very proud, don’t let the hate get you down baby, you’re awesome pais!!!
