He didn't play well before he went on IR, and was out for months, he came back in march and played great.. He was bad pre IR which was in 2022. He had a 950 % in April, 910% in March, he came back from injury Feb 27th..
The canucks have been one of the best teams in the league under tocc, brock is up there fighting matthews for goals and jt miller likewise on the points front. Crazy that neither of them got a mention but someone like ovi and tage thompson on 2 horrendous teams underperforming did. Dont even get me started on demmer or swayman missing the list…
Nuge scored 104 points and is the Oilers best defensive forward, he has been unappreciated for years cause the Oilers sucked, he deserves a shout. Keller getting 86 points on a 28 win team is like 2010’s Taylor Hall on the Oilers
You cant compare Swayman, whos playing games as a BU, to Georgiev, whos a starter. Swayman had a 2.27GAA and a .920SV% last year in 37 games. Georgiev had a 2.51GAA and a .919SV%. in 62 games. Edit: Forgot to add games played for them both.
The fact that Nylander isn’t on here despite being the Leafs best player this year is crazy to me. Matthew’s, sure, but Marner? He’s been pretty anonymous and he’s definitely not been as good as Nylander

See this is how you know they don’t watch the Islanders. If you watched you would know it’s not Sorokin’s fault that he faces 40+ shots a night and is facing high danger chances every game. Yet the media betrays him because they look at the numbers, and not the play of the goalie.
He isn’t better than anyone listed. He is a good player but isn’t a world beater. Edit maybe only RNH is the player that is worse but there are 2-5 other players I would take over barkov.
@@munaclassic4020 Players that he’s better than on that list: Point, RNH, Stützle, Ovie, Thompson, Eichel and Tkachuk even. Would also argue he’s better than Robertson but he had a monster year. Barkov just isn’t as exiting as some of these guys but he’s definitely better overall. Better version of Bergeron but because he’s not from NA and plays in Florida no one cares.
