I've read medial studies that found gardening and harvesting your own fruit can cause your body to release serotonin and dopamine- two important chemicals that boost our immune system and keep us happy!
Aww thank you! We have been eating peaches and blueberries as our fruit for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for weeks and we have about 5 gallons in the freezer! We made peach cobbler the other day too! We are doing pretty good keeping up! Peaches really are a delicious fruit
Yes! We haven’t had to buy any fruit since we have had our fill of peaches and blueberries-such an awesome time of year. It’s the great fruit eating race
#1, get some props for the limbs, #2 you have to thin clusters of peaches when they are small so they get size. Peaches need to ripen on the tree, green peaches are not going to be as sweet. We Had peaches on our farm in Niagara County New York. #3, you need to trim the trees, remove all the dead wood, and maybe get fertilizer stakes for them. We trimmed our trees in the spring, I used to have to rake all the cuttings to the middle of the rows so we could pick them up with the brush bucker on the tractor.
Thanks for the tips. We we've been thinning the peaches all season but obviously still not enough. We were picking these to thin them out further. We have a TON that will ripen properly on the tree. After this season this tree is getting pruned big time!
