Good luck picking games in the new world of portals and NIL's. Weekly upsets are the new norm so get use to it! Florida normally plays it's best games against Tennessee so there's that. Now to Napier, he plays scared with even the slightest of leads! He and the Florida coaching staff have no clue what they are doing so Tennessee should have no problem with this game, but refer back to my first statement about this rivalry! I would not bet a wooden nickel on this one!

I think Tenn. is good, Arkansas just has a salty defense...Aggie here and we were fortunate to get outta that game with a win. Give the Hogs some credit.

You guys definitely wanted to win more than we did, if you can take advantage of Vols being arrogant then that's what our team deserves. Knock them down some pegs and hopefully they wake up and remember how to play good football again. So yes, y'all definitely earn all the credit for playing like you did!

Tennessee played a road SEC game against an opponent that was as few as 2 plays from being 5-0 and Arkansas played with a purpose. That is a road game that can bite any team. Sure I would have loved to see them win and cover but reality is something one must accept. Alabama had the worse trap because Vandy gets your guard down. Tennessee knew they had a fight and lost anyway where any team could. I'm still feelin' good about our team, QB, O-line, and season. I think a funny "punishment" for Nico's performance is to ban him from passing during the Florida game.(all rush)

He's not gonna pass anyway, they'll just run it up the middle all day. Sorry, battered Vol syndrome going on. But I really want to know, what is up with this supposed "amazing" offense we have, because I haven't seen it where it counts and I want to believe in them, but I've been a fan for so long, I know how the story usually goes.

I'm with you uf1978. The NIL made the portal change completely, and now there is way more balance in talent. UT should win this game. But in no world will I pick them to cover. The early 90s are gone. And until UT can beat Florida consistently again, I will never see it being a two score game in Tennessee's favor

as a completely obsessed Tennessee fan. I need to see it. I believe in my quarterback and my coach. I believe there is a reason coach H kept 8 and 9 guys back to block for nico on pass plays earlier in the season. I believe that coach H is a championship level coach just trying to get through the regular season. Nico had opportunities in the end. but that is ok.

I’ll never overlook UF in this rivalry they had TN’s number for as long as I can remember. Honestly give it a 50-50 chance for who wins this. The crowd is gonna have to make a ruckus and get into this game heavy to help our boys out, especially since it’s a night game!

Ucf has the one of the best rush offense in the country lol and we stopped em good! Florida’s not perfect but you can definitely tell a difference in last week game vs the other ones we’ve played! Our defense was fire last week we’ve never seen our defense act that way. I’m definitely not the only one who has said this lol 😂

Very very obvious that heupel doesn’t trust Nico at all. It’s the same offense as last year when he clearly didn’t trust Milton. When you watch the offense with hooker from 2 years ago it’s so much different. Teams are playing zone against them a lot which 2 years ago meant you were getting killed. Shows you how little people respect Nico going deep.

I just don't know if our offense is good enough to win this game. Fkorida is getting a lot better. Our (vols) offensive line is horrible. It's probably worse than any team in the SEC...and Nico has to get alot better, QUICK. This will be a long disappointing season. That game showed us there was pending doom.

Sadly, for me and my Gators this will be an ass whooopin. I think Tennessee is not as good as people think they are but Florida still can't put a whole game together and Tennessee is just flat out better than the Gators. If Tennessee loses this game something is wrong in Tennessee. I got Tennessee by 20.

Somewhat of an over exaggeration here. This happens to every team when playing an uptempo offense. They wouldn't run a fast pace offense if there was no advantage to catching teams misaligned. That is the soke reason for doing it.

What I don’t understand is why Tennessee loses just 4 spots in the polls Arkansas beat them with backup quarterback and Alabama loses just 6 spots losing to Vanderbilt. MIAMI BEATS VA TECH AND LOSES 1 spot if Miami had lost to cal or va tech Miami would lost 8-10 positions if not more and cal and va tech would have been ranked higher than both teams especially cal

There’s 3 reasons really. Firstly, it’s the SEC where even the “bad teams” in the conference are better than most other teams in P4 or otherwise. Secondly there’s the strength of schedule. Bama had a huge win over then #2 Georgia and Tennessee had 2 ranked wins over #24 NC State neuteral site, and #15 Oklahoma on the Road. Lastly, there’s the talent of the teams and the talent of the teams they lost to. Bama and Tennessee still have top 10 talent and lost to possibly underrated and overachieving SEC teams.

I’m a Tennessee fan, stop gassing up Tennessee. They’re not a good team, the offense can’t block, get open, or catch. The defense couldn’t stop a pass play if they were given 5 extra men and the defensive line has been beyond disappointing. They played 5 straight games of mediocre to no talent qbs this defense is 8th in sec at best. BE REALISTIC TENNESSEE FANS WE ARE NOT AN ELITE PROGRAM

Nah if we do win the score will be closer to what it was last year. Florida is not putting up 44 because billy refuses to run up the score. Point and case proven the ucf game. Didn't score at all the 2nd half and I think they put up no or very few points against tn last year in the 2nd half.

Nico most definitely isn’t a waste of money. In the Arkansas game he made a lot of freshman mistakes and I’d expect many of those to be corrected. I’d also expect Heupel to correct the O-Line as there’s no excuse for the piss-poor performance they had. Tennessee can still easily win more than 7 games this year. It would take something completely catastrophic like Nico getting hurt for this team to worse than 8 wins imo especially with Miss. State, Kentucky, and UTEP at home which will favor Tennessee, and with Vandy, I don’t think they will have the depth to continue despite their upset of Bama.

Culling out the fly by night fans. Lose 1 game and they show themselves immediately. 6 games total and the Vols offense still haven't given up as many points as Vandy scored against the #1 ranked team in the nation. Every SEC team has a loss, except Texas, (and theirs is coming 😂), so the slate is pretty much even. The Vols offense had several key positions that hadn't been on the field in weeks, plus a bye week, due to injuries. They just couldn't get together. It's one loss. Nico has very little experience in college ball. He still has a lot to learn. And I have no doubt he will be one of the greats.

Fake Vols. I’m just as angry and disappointed as anyone. I paid hundreds of $ to be at that Arkansas game and watch that garbage in person. Season is not over. They still have plenty of opportunities. If they don’t take advantage of them, THEN the season will be over.

Overreaction much? No Tennessee didn’t play well. The O-Line hadn’t played this bad since Florida in 2023, Nico made some Freshman mistakes which was to be expected this season. It all culminated to a perfect storm for an Arkansas win, which is unfortunate, but it’s one game. Everything that went bad is correctable and Tennessee is still a top 10 team with a favorable schedule still for postseason play and even the Playoffs and the SEC is still wide open. Every SEC team (except Texas) has lost and lost arguably to worse competition. The only way the season is “over” is if corrections aren’t made which I highly doubt will happen. Heupel isn’t like Jimbo Fisher.
