It's an epidemic of sorts. Players leave the poker room and go galivanting around the casino, then they don't get picked up so new players who want to play can sit. It happens a lot in Las Vegas, Nevada because people love going to poker rooms in order to not play. But it happens in other cities too.

Yeah this is one of my pet peeves. The thing I hate even more is when someone loses and says "I'll be back." Yeah right, that happens like 40% of the time, and then the floor always lets the seat stay occupied for like 30 mins even when it's obvious the player was just embarrassed.

When there are about 6 players left you target the tightest player with big pre-flop raises so they fold a lot and then when you have a good hand you get paid off by the other players, because they see your raises and think you are playing wild against them too.

Exactly! So, it all comes out in the wash. If you're going to worry about this then what aren't you worrying about? Also, if the floor doesn't have to be responsible for a player's chips then they're not going to take on that responsibility.

I know someone to use this to rathole....if he was up a lot and couldnt table change he would lobby for a long time get picked up and then come back and buy in the minimum keeping the rest of the chips wihtout cashing out.

Ah, good explanation. From the title I thought there were either old people or drinkers falling that needed assistance, or maybe some hot babes looking for a night on the town! (Joking). As per usual, your comment is on point. I also get annoyed with excessive and repetitive slow play where the dealers don't admonish the offender. It's not that common, but the players shouldn't be put in the position of needing to say something. Solid dealers are hard to come by, so I lead by example and say something when I over-tip for performance. 💯
