Im not sure i understand the part of the rule that says "as long as the player doesn't exit the kitchen after the ball bounces" So does that mean that i cannot retreat and chase the ball down if i was standing in the kitchen when it bounced?
Not me randomly coming across this short and wondering why she's talking about hitting a ball in her kitchen when she's talking about standing on a court! LMAO! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I can’t leave the kitchen after returning the ball from there? What if the ball looks like it would land in the kitchen but I scoop hit it from below and over the net and never step inside lol
You can stand in the kitchen as much as you like at any time unless you’re serving as long as you don’t hit the ball out of the air while you’re in there or forward momentum brings you in after the volley. Common cases when this is advantageous are when stepping in to return a short dink or when a lob is going to land in the kitchen you have lots of time to stand next to the net, wait for the bounce, and slam it while standing in the kitchen.
It’s not against the rules to stand in the kitchen; it’s just a really bad idea. Now there’s the “out ball bait”: you get a really soft dink close to the net. You stay in the kitchen to get them to hit it at you. You anticipate the shot and move out of the way because the angle and strength send it out. It’s an old trick and no one falls for it anymore, but if my opponent is speeding up too often from the line, I know I can pull one off.
Interesting. I was "taught" that you could hit a ball while in the kitchen ONLY IF it bounces IN the kitchen. But clearly this is not what the rule says, and your video shows a ball bouncing outside the kitchen being returned while you are in the kitchen. So basically, if someone is in the kitchen, hit the ball right at them and win the point!
More or less, it's not that simple. A player will not just stand in the kitchen normally, they stand behind it and only enter the kitchen if they need to.
No! People get smacked in the hand, boob, face and crotch all the time! 😅😅😢😂😊 So be alert ⚠️! Blood may make an appearance. A rapidly spinning pickleball can be like buzz saw on raw human flesh.
(Revelation 20:11-15)And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:11-15)
It’s called the “Non-Volley Zone”, which just means you can’t volley the ball out of the air. As long as it bounces ANYWHERE you can hit it while standing in the kitchen
Actually, I played Pickleball as a associate fun ability game twice a week nightly. BUT your not allow to stand in the kitchen line aka the non-volley line, it's because it's not fair for other plays in the games including competition Pickleball games and also you ONLY allow to step in the kitchen line (NVL) when the ball bounce in it. You cannot jump in but can jump on the side line next to the kitchen line. I've played Pickleball for around 2 months yet still a beginner. Still learning, yes but this video of the lady is saying the rule wrong about the step in kitchen line. Not saying in professional way, it'll be a foot fault. Thanks and love y'all!
It's because illegal. But u can ONLY step in the kitchen when it's once bounce close to the net. Besides that, you can't go in the kitchen. Pickleball rules. Not understanding? Watch the Pickleball if wanting to know more about Pickleball rules, including the scoring@@paddlepedalproductions5452
