While pickleball isn't a physical sport, injuries can happen, and one very preventable one is injuries to your eyes. Our Head Coach, @scottfliegelmanpickleball, is a huge proponent of wearing protective eyewear and had a scare of his own just last week.
The game happens so fast that accidents like a ball to the eye are a lot more common than you might think. Thankfully, Scott was wearing his protective clear glasses as he always does, and outside of a nose bleed, there was no damage to his eyes!
In addition to protecting your eyes from damage or compromised vision, clear glasses can be great for indoor lighting. We're talking safety protection that could HELP your game!
