Love the idea of Simple Seasoning! In my late 20s I found I didn’t know anything about basic cooking so I think it’s a great series to help the younger subscribers to learn basic but flavorful flavors 🧅

My favorite quick "pickled onion" is lemon juice and thin sliced habanero pepper & red onion with a pinch of salt marinated for 1 hr. Eat them with anything 😋. But these look good too

I pickled red onions for the first time yesterday!! I added 15 black peppercorns, a few slices of jalapeño, a few slices of sweet peppers, roughly chopped cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice to it! I literally cannot stop eating them!
