a little tip for opening a glass of beetroot. knock the edge of the lid against the table, all the way around (3-4 knocks) and vacuum out in knocks. and now you can easily open the lid.💪🏻👍
We used to have a 2 litre ice cream tub for lunch boxes. When I was a kid, some of the supermarkets and Bejam (previous name of Iceland) used to do 4 litre tubs of vanilla ice cream. Mum used to pack one for dad, who was a builder, and worked with my brother. Even though he was married, she still used to pack lunch for him 😀
Think we are all feeling fed up with the weather, it’s just gone on forever. I have lymphoedema pain is wicked, never had zip in ones, but they are not easy to get on unless you roll right down.so I am sure you will benefit. They do feel tight when you get them on, it’s hard going, but you will benefit, did you measure your leg. You need to measure widest part of your leg then around your ankle to correct fit. There should be a guide when ordering.. You will feel they are tight but not to tight or your circulation will be affected, hehe. Hope you benefit.like your picnic basket. On those type of tins I pop in fridge for a while then open both ends and push out.
Hi Mazzy your picnic looks delicious. Wish you had good weather too go with it. Sometimes if I can’t open a jar I make a little hole in the lid then it opens easily. I then put it in the fridge and use it up in a few days anyway once it’s been opened. I love beetroot 👍🥰❤️
Hi mazzy yes its cold like april warmer next week love your picnic basket etc l remember vanilla ice cream when l was a kid you couid taste the vanilla it was lovely apparently the vanilla pods are to expensive now they use a substitute now
If you struggling with jars an elastic band round the lid or bang the lid on the floor. Yeah if I lost my lunch box I use to get my ack lunch in a ice cream tub too xx
Compression socks are normally tight to put on. Ive worn them in the past when been in hospital. And also on a flight as my ankles swell up sometimes. The zips need to be in the side of your leg, years ago doctors could prescribe the socks. You went and had your legs measured. But if you ever have pains in your legs after been on a flight you need to get it checked out. As can be something sinister but can be something more . Wish i could just take those little travel bottles would save on weight. But they would be gone in one shower with my daughter who is autistic. I normally take enough for the first day, and then buy in resort. I think the weight of toiletries and sun cream take a lot of your allowance plus your suitcase weighs before you fill it as well. I've got a friend who is in your hotel in turkey, she told me the name and i thought i recognise it and then realised. They have got a heat weight there at the minute reaching the 40s somedays she said. Xx
Looks a lot of food for Dan if he’s lost his appetite I use Icecream tubs for keeping soups or salads etc in fridge. No such thing as packed lunches in school… went home or school lunch.🤮
