I think those are isolated ones. He used soldering iron on tips of the wires to remove it. You can actually see it in beginning when he prepared rp2040 chip
Its part of the modchip you get. You just need the soldering tools and wire and a trywing screwdriver which is Nintendo's type of tool to unscrew the screws.
Why did you make such a great video only to make it unwatchable with this flashing graphic? Maybe others can handle it, but yeah I don't understand 🤷♂️
Hello! Can you please tell me if it is possible to use some kind of analogue of this mosfet, for example FDS8884? And how critical is the replacement of the mosfet with analogues? What parameters should be considered when choosing a mosfet?
Having a bit of trouble finding info on this but, when the chip is installed, what can you do with it? I know you can run a program called atmosphere off a microsd card, however, is this something where you have to boot it with your pc or rcm jig, or any quirks like that? Im planning to pay someone to mod mine, and would appreciate the info 😅
You did not remove the micro-usb port or the boot/reset buttons, but you already flashed the chip, were you making sure that it worked and planning on removing or just leaving in place ?
You know this was a test and not a tutorial right? I made this video just days from picofly release. Of course installation with intention to be permanent will be void of the buttons and the Port
Hello sir, thanks for the video! I want to ask that are there something that must be install on that chip before we do this progress? Or we just do this after we bought the chip? (I'm new to this kind of thing... sorry about that...)
BL TEC na area...kkkkk onde eu encontro mais informaçãoes.. tipo fw, diagrama etc.. para inserir nesse chip vc sabe? estou caçando aqui pra colocar um console meu pra teste... e quem sabe num futuro proximo para clientes.
hwfly source code is open source. the firmware for rp2040 and its magic was made by rehius. gdfchip will use normal HWFLY firmware whilst rp2040 based chips even in hwfly form factor will use picofly firmware
@@prmzngph sorry, I mean the fw that flashed in chip. Its says hekate-nx so its hwfly-nx fw right ? I think if that picofly fw it will have bee picture on bootloader when you not insert the microsd.
@@prmzngph thanks! 😁 I'va already placed an order for V1 and V2 Flex... I'll try using an RP2040-One instead of Zero..hopefully it'll work with only 2MB flash... 😅
I ended up losing the capacitor when soldering the 3v3 point, does anyone know what its value is to put another one in its place, thank you very much!!
Thanks for showing this Definitely not worth all this work, just buy an old switch and you will avoid unnecessarythings to do like this. We will have to wait for someone to make it easier and less dangerous.
@@prmzngph Ah, makes sense. I attempted to do this last night and failed. The chip will blink blue, white, then blink blue for a while, then red before shutting off. Not sure what I did wrong. I just get a black screen as well. May need to check my soldering, I thought it was good. is there a way to verify with a voltmeter or something that your soldered correctly? I tested for conitnuity but that may not be enough. Also, do you need to pre-tin your wires? I find them hard to stick sometimes. EDIT: Now I'm thinking it might be my DAT0 cable? That one was hard to put on and I couldn't tell if it was touching the other two connections nearby, they're so close together.
if it's light blue then it's your cpu wire /going in to the mosfet. pre-tin is a must on any connection. you want as little heat on the pads so you prep your stuff before attempting to solder. dat0, clk, cmd should have 400-800 value in diode mode. but based on your led result. probably cpu wire
@@prmzngph Can I send you a picture when I get home? I put it under a microscope and it looks good to me but, maybe I'm blind. You said diode mode can help me check?
Üdv! Én régebben hwfly modchipet telepítettem a switch liteomba, egyszer majdnem el is rontottam de egy jó küzdelem után végülis sikerült. Nehezebb mint aminek tűnik az a nagyon fontos ebben.
@@prmzngph In my case i burned off a pad from the dat0 cmd clk rst flex cable (the other flex cable that came with the hwfly kit). Thankfully after i exposed the trace and wired it to the pad it worked fine.
Bro I need your help please I just buy picofly today do I need to download a software on it before I install it on switch lite or I can do that later after I install it on the switch lite ?
