I love picture books, both as an artist, an ex primary teacher and as a mother reading picture books to my babies, they are and have remained an important part of my life. So when I saw that Rachel ⁠‪@SecondThoughtsAboutTheMission‬ had created a tag linking picture books with decks called PICTURE BOOK DECKS I was so excited. I knew I needed to join in.
A big thank you to to my subscribers who also messaged me asking me to join in, that meant a lot, you guys are the best!
So here is my part 1 and there will easily be another two parts to follow if not more! its such a fun way to share and I have so many picture books!

These were all so wonderful! I have to say, I'm having a very difficult day physically due to a flare. Watching your videos, hearing your voice is so calming and soothing, a balm on this difficult day for me. 💖 Have you seen the Enchanted Tarot by Amy Zerner and Monte Farber? It's textile art based as well. There's a new 30th anniversary edition available now. 😊 I believe they have an Oracle deck too.

I agree with you about Alice in Wonderland. I never liked it as a child. I thought it was quite dark and frightening.

If I get to have a life after this one, I want to be a children's book author. I think I will be 100 years of age and still love them. Not sure if you've read The Three Kittens, the book where they lose their mittens. I've thought about getting a tattoo of an image from that book. 😸

Oh my goodness Candy, I loved hearing you talk about your books. They’re lovely! I especially loved the Animal Wisdom Tarot, I don’t think I’ve seen that one, it’s so darling! It really reminds me of some of my favorite picture book art, and the bug tarot!! I loved the backstory for Little Ladybird 🥹🥹🥹🥹 And The Rabbits’ Wedding is so BEAUTIFUL omg. I’m sorry to hear about your experience with marriage 😔 I did not have a happy one either and drama still resurfaces from time to time. It’s wonderful that you still have a soft spot for the book though. I can’t wait to see your part 2. Thank you so much for participating, I knew this would be good! 🤗 ❤❤❤
