Well, that's my dinner sorted for today, pie n mash, can't see it being up to the standard of that one, that looked like one of the best ones i have seen.

That pie looks amazing Darren. A pie is not a proper pie unless it’s completely encased in pastry. Not these stupid little lids on a scoop of meat. Great vlog

Last time I was in London (from Australia) I had pies in a couple of those Nicholson's pubs and really enjoyed them. Agree, the pastry is quite thick. Aussie style pies are shortcrust base and puff pasty top; makes a nice combo. Seem to taste even nicer when eaten from a paper bag while at the footy.
In the 50's/60's me old mam used to make a nice eel pie in a nice water crust pastry, and would serve it up on sundays with mash, and her very own sauce.. it was off the charts
Shepherds pie.....yum... my favourite... BUT.. that steak and ale pie was almost as delicious as that lovely wink when you tasted it. Lots of love xxxxx
I’ve just seen this vlog… I’m running a little late on your instalments!! The sight of the gravy being slowly poured over the pie and the Camden Hells by the side proved too much for me. I had to watch it again. And again. And again. Great vlog.

Top class British classic. Curry/Chinese etc all class. But now and again food from our shores done properly take Some beating. Especially done to the standard on display. Amazing, keep up the good work. Always variety on your videos.👍
