Ironically enough if you stop at 1:59 it looks like that they reused old retire Bionicle pieces for that trident. Tbh I am kinda annoyed lately that Lego will still acknowledge that Bionicle exist but do nothing with the IP despite nostalgia for Bionicle (and even Hero Factory) being at an all time high.

The animation feels too much like a fan made project. The original Lego movies had such amazing animation it looked like it was live action! I’ll give this movie a try, but I don’t expect it to be better than the originals.

This entire thing is confusing to me but it looks interesting, even tho I’ve never been much of a fan of his. But I’m sure that this will be less of an accurate documentary of his life just due to Lego not wanting to get down into the nitty gritties whereas something like Idea Man for Jim Henson was able to go into drugs and his divorce and stuff. Still interesting that now that the Lego movie stuff belongs to universal that they are going this direction instead of Lego movie 3 or something after Lego ninjago and Lego movie 2 flopping
