Two years ago I was addicted to meth, I finally gave up and ask Jesus's to help fix me. Since then my journey has been full, I work my family has been restored to me. I have a church family and praise God for giving me a life more abundant.
Right now, there are people all over the world who are just like you. They're either lonely, they're missing somebody, they're depressed, they're hurt, they're scarred from the past, they're having personal issues no one knows about, they have secrets you wouldn't believe. They wish, they dream and they hope. And right now, they are sitting here reading these words, and I'm writing this for you so you dont feel alone anymore. Always remember, don't be depressed about the past, don't worry about the future, and just focus on today. If today's not so great don't worry! Tomorrow's a new chance. I used to be in witchcraft/new age. March,2021 I heard Gods voice. He said “I have work for you to do”. I was suicidal and so broken at the time. I hated myself. I accepted Christ very soon after that encounter and God totally transformed me. I’m still a work in progress but I have so much peace and unending joy.
Hi everyone! I am 12 years old and I wanted to tell you a story of what happened tonight. I was just lying in bed being lazy and watching some of my favourite youtubers, then I was like, you know what? I'm going to set aside my time to have an encounter with god and to praise him. I put on this song and I started worship lying down in bed. Then all of a sudden, when the music gets louder and louder next thing I know, my hand are in the air, my arms and mouth are chattering (if that makes sence) and I was balling my eyes out. I couldnt stop myself. Then once it would quiet down I would calm my self down. It would happen everytime. I had a picture an ocean. I had to think but eventually I figured it out.... he wanted me to be baptised! This my encounter with lord christ and I pray that everyone can feel his presence listening to this song. Well here I am now. Age 12 and got baptised 23-06-2021! I just really felt that I needed to share my encounter because we are 1 big family and we are all in this together! I lost my wife on September 14, 2022… we never had the most romantic or closest relationship… we struggled with our communication and feelings towards each other… the last month before she passed -however- I discovered this song and would sing it to myself often while coming and going from the hospital and it was so difficult at times… we reconciled with one another… and im thankful that we did - but i had so much GUILT because we argued and hurt one another even through the cancer… but God began leading me to the places where we had some good memories… the church she took me where i gave my life to Jesus… the park where i proposed to her…. I'm 57 years old. I have struggled with alcohol since the age of 12. 13 times in treatment, 6+years in prison and all the damage to my family and self. This last year I was near death and once again God pulled me from the pit and this time I finally got it. God really, truly loves me just as I am. I have not had a desire for another drink since and know it's truly over. I love this song. It helps calm my spirit on tough days. Praise Jesus

I've been listening to this song on repeat for at least 2 weeks straight. At the beginning of 2018 I prayed that I would hear a word from the Lord like never before. Today marks the day that he answered that prayer. The Lord is rewriting my story. Thank you, Jesus! He truly cares for us and listens to us. Jesus is good. He’s putting me into a situation where I have no other solution but to trust Him and depend on Him and to get closer to Him. Growing up without a mother. I always felt the lack. Always felt how society viewed me differently. Whether it be looking down upon me or making me feel pitiful. I hated it. Not having my dad around as much and he being an alcohol was another factor. But then i got a taste of God’s love two years ago. I’m 17 now. Never had enough of of His love. Wow. The most powerful experience I had with Jesus, even greater than when I was out in the Spirit when I first spoke in tongues was…. I was waking from a nap, and in a half awake state I heard Jesus speaking to me. He was literally rewriting my memories of the most recent events that day. He showed me just how He was with me. He said, “look here…” when that disappointment happened, I was right there and He showed me that there were no mistakes. He completely took all of the condemnation and replaced it with His pure love and perspective. I truly wish that I could fully give that experience to everyone. It was the most beautiful and showed me just who our God is! LOVE. GRACE. PEACE.

I was homeless, got into drugs, went into prisons, then i got to know Jesus, He changed my life.. Now i have a home, a wife, a lovely daughter and a new identity... A child of God.. Amen
Wow. I have a huge feeling that what happened wasn't a coincidence. @1:03-1:10, Amanda cook said that God's giving us new memories and not just perspective, and that it's also he's restoring our innocence. At that moment when she said "it's innocence", a baby cried. I believe that was God showing a representation of the renovation of innocence by comparing it to the innocence of a baby. It just shows how the Holy Spirit was in that place at that moment. I'm baffled and in awe.
You are not alone in your wrestling. We all go through times of unrest. Trust in your heavenly father; he loves you unconditionally . His grace is sufficient to get you through the vicissitudes of life. This song is so beautiful. Having just come out of an abusive relationship where all of the things mentioned in this song were done to me. I am no victim though. I am healing in Jesus name and He is making me whole. This is so healing and refreshing. I have it on repeat. If you’re in a similar situation know that He sees and you can go if you need to! He will redeem the pain and years!! 💜

I've come out of an abusive relationship too...and I was raised in an abusive cult. I'm trying hard but healing has been difficult..💔. I have many days that I give up..

This is song is letting us know that God loves us well. He doesn’t love us like the imperfect friends, fathers or lovers we’ve had. He’s extremely generous with His heart. He’s not holding back any love, waiting for something in return or fearful that you will break it. He gives his whole heart, without expectation of anything in return. It’s a free gift because his faithfulness is not dependent on our faithfulness. (2 Tim 2:13) It’s with this kind of reckless, unfailing love that He is healing each of our broken hearts and renewing our definitions of true love. And now, once again, I’m addicted to this song that I once was impartial to.

This song hit my heart when I decided to accept Jesus into my life. I listened to it on the way to my baptism in January 2022. I realized God wanted me to come out of the shadows and into his blanket of light and peace. When I started attending church again a girl at my church felt compelled by the holy spirit one Sunday service to tell someone in the church that they're welcome at God's table. That day my eating disorder caused from self destruction from hating myself from my sins was lifted. I felt an overwhelming acceptance and Love from God and Jesus to come to them. After struggling to find employment for so long, I’m blessed to say I finally have a job, one that pays me what I deserve, and I couldn’t have done any of this without God or His favor. I’m praying for stability for myself, peace, obedience to God in ALL things, and just His glory to be seen in us all. May He always be glorified for all He’s done.
