I grew up with Roger Moore, saw them in the theater. Didn't see Connery until he reprised the role and later in re-runs/VHS. Liked Brosnan in "Dante's Peak" though.
@@jhobaugh45 Just 2 days, dude, not years. Or are you one of those weird youtube commenting time travelers? My local youth pastor warned me of guys like you!
Ahhhl! Pierce Brosnan! What a handsome, classy, sexy man! He's still got it and at 60!! Loved him as Bond! Always had a crush on him! What woman wouldn't? Love the fun, joking rapport that he and Craig have together! Makes for an enjoyable, fun show! 💖👍🌟♥️😊
When I watched 'Remington Steele' sometimes I wouldn't look at Stephanie Zimbalist and I would say, "That man should be Bond." He's a combo of the best parts of Connery and Moore.
He looks too much like a model or actor, which was the problem with all the bonds, Connery looked a little more normal because of the costume designer. Craig was the first guy who looked like a bouncer or football player or at least somebody who wouldn't walk into a room and have everybody say "that guy is up to something". Dalton had the wingtip receding hairline like the book Bond, but even he looked like somebody who woudl walk into a room and everybody would be watching them all the time.
Pierce in leather making smooth moves across the stage to greet his good friend. It's very refreshing to see Pierce smile and relax into his skin. I wish he made a sequel to Thomas Crown. Fantastic chemistry with Rene. I thouggt he was a natural on the catamaran and the glider. He's got a calling there...
Eh idk about that. Best looking for sure and he was also Bond in arguably the best Bond movie ever (Goldeneye) but he was also in the absolute worst Bond movie (Die Another Day) I think it's a toss between him and Craig for second behind Connery
Lol I love that he says "Have you ever been to Denmark?" and then Pierce brings up the movie that they talked about the last time he was on, but then again who would remember when you have new guests every night
@@Adam-er5rc Bit late to respond but he's a very private Irishman, I'm sure most of the people who consider him rude didn't realise how rude or intrusive they were being and the Irish will always be straight up with you so he probably responded equally. Then again, I'm not his lawyer, maybe he is rude but he certainly never seems that way.
I read an article in a now ancient GQ. When they were filming " For Your Eyes Only" Pierce was not an actor yet, but he was dating a Bond girl. Pierce Brosnan came to the set to lunch with her. Cubby Broccoli saw him walking up and said " If that guy has a British accent he he'd be a great Bond one day."
@@dougthealligator Goldeneye is the only Brosnan-era Bond movie in my library. All of the Connory movies minus _Never Say Never Again,_ both the Dalton movies, _Goldeneye_ and all of the Craig movies
Craig is just so funny. I love how spontaneous he is. But of course the reason why I watched this interview more than 5x is because of Pierce Brosnan. Back in 1982, I fell in love with his character Remington Steele, followed by Bond, After the Sunset, November Man and Mamma Mia.
Pierce is fierce, best Bond ever💙💖💜💛💚 Craig wish I could enjoy a drink in a bar with you, you so funny, I love your wacky sense of humour, interviews with Pierce are the best😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
08:59 That's 100% James Bond walking into the room! In my opinion i wish they would have kept Brosnan for many more movies. But then again it might have been a hard thing going from Die another day to Casino Royale without a new actor. At least on the surface of things, cause then one remembers that the difference between 'moonraker' and 'for your eyes only' was even more profound (both with Roger Moore) .
while I liked him as the character Bond very much and while I loved GoldenEye... but given the constant decline in quality of the Bond movies they wrote for him to star in, I'm kinda glad they stopped when they did to give it a bit of a break and then try a completely fresh take on it
James Corden thinks Pierce Brosnan is a douchebag. Haha. Pierce physically used his body to push Corden out of his seat when they were at the same concert. Hilarious.
Saurav Ghosh I always like Sean, but when I first saw Pierce on "Remington Steele" I knew he would-be a fantastic Bond. Then Daniel Craig showed up. I must be fickle.
@@eternalextrapolations I've never heard that before. I always thought it was a shame one of Flemings best stories was ruined by him. OHMSS deserved a better Bond.
I know Bond was, is, and always will be a classic, but it never really tapped into all of PB’s acting abilities. His work since Bond has truly show cased his acting finesse and charisma.
I have been sailing and it is pretty fun. Well that was around Key West, Florida. I kind of wish I never left. I do remember when I was snorkeling and saw a shark. I realized that I was no longer the Alpha when I saw that critter.
Lol he comes to plug love is all you need in the first appearance, by the third they bring it up like theyve never mentioned it and craigs never heard of it
Pierce is what you would call an architect. Go look at his wife when they were 1st married and photos now. Look at the smile on his face as the years went by. He crafted a PAWG over the years fellas.
Anyone know what was the line he said on 19:05.. "dive you worry dive you dont"? Or something like that.. What was that line about? Sorry for my english
