I went to high school with Mike and Vic. They’re good guys. And since Mike and I were in the same grade, as well as both drummers, we were became pretty good friends. He was the “punk” drummer, of our class. Most similar to a Travis Barker type. And he kicked ass at it. And I was the more “footwork metal” type drummer . There’s even a video of a drum off between Mike and myself, along with two other jazz extremely talented drummers at our senior year of high school, Mission Bay High I went to high school with Mike and Vic. So the response to the comment, is yes Mike and I used to drink, but I had never seen Vic at a party. Drum off link below both when mike and I had just started drumming a couple years prior. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-72JwDBT8SEY.html
Omg Tony had snake bites. They still had a pianist. Jaime's hair was like really fluffy with a blonde streak in it. Mike had a fucking shirt on. Vic still straightened his hair. Omfg they changed so much from then to now..... Still amazing though 🙌🏼 now all we are waiting for is a new album 😌
They need to play this song more. Honestly, they need to start playing songs from the first album again. I know they have to spread ou their setlist to the hits and the new stuff but it's almost the anniversary of the first album and honestly you're LUCKY if they decide to play Yeah Boy and Doll Face and they barely play that one
All of the songs on that album are tuned to standard and all of the songs on their later albums are tuned to drop c, so it's probably difficult for them to play songs like that live. It's also the reason you probably don't hear them play the intro to Hell Above (that's also standard tuning).
I actually use to play shows with a band and when we had to play songs in a different tune all we needed to do was switch our guitars. We called it "our arsenal". There's actually a live show called a Pierce the Veil live at Moshcam. That was after they released Selfish Machines and so most songs were from that one cuz it had more hits but they played like 3 or 4 songs of Flair for the Dramatic. When they plaid those songs, they just switched guitars. All tho, I would agree with what you said about it being difficult for them to play. Reason being, their later albums have a lot more hits on them. Yeah Boy and Doll Face is one they try to have every show (in standard tuning) since that was the biggest but I guess because their later albums were more successful they feel that's what the fans want. I would really like to hear "She Sings in the Morning" live
They went from Early times to before today and now look at them. Pierce the veil is FINALLY working on another album at almost 40. Their music has been such a huge part of my life.
Literally same I first discovered them in 2015 and still a huge fan of them to this day 🥹🫶 They’re another reason why I’m three years almost four years sober from s.h.
Baby Tony omfg. And they were so awkward here, this was probably their first big show, in front of a lot of people, they seemed really nervous. But I still think it was perfect, and this is my all time favorite song3
nousername I think they actually are drunk. I mean think about it this was probably before much experience with playing live (which is very frightening I've played live before, so much anxiety) and they Vic didn't sound so hot on the vocals
let us take a moment to a appreciate the fact Mr. Victor Vincent Fuentes actually wore a long sleeved shirt, and it had stripes on it...... "The best time to where a striped sweater is all the tiiimmmmmmeeeeeeee........"
Omg this is around the time I found out who they were!!!! I love the end of this song. For you I'd count the salt under the sea 💛💛💛💛 still my favorite band. #vivaptv
this is the typical comment i wouldve seen in 2007, i love this comment so much. i personally love pierce the veil theyre really great and theyve grown a lot, def recommend them if you wanna start - some songs i recommend are; dive in, yeah boy and doll face, the sky under the sea, stay away from my friends, hell above, besitos, floral and fading, the first punch, the balcony scene
They have evolved as a band both with their sound and live performance since now. Don't get me wrong I do like their old stuff but I prefer their new stuff. The are so much better live now though
Litol Vic, Mike (with a shirt), Tony and Jaime. So kyottttt hahahaha This baby Pierce The Veil. They've come a long way damnnnnn Love this song especially that part at 3:35. They should play this again
