Indeed!! I agree with you! On a slightly related note, I remember a very interesting interview by Jerry Hadley where he was singing in a Maria Stuarda that got cancelled, so they did a Traviata last minute instead. Hadley walked into the dressing room to come face to face with a Piero Cappuccilli who had just showed up to do Germont! Ileana Cotrubas sang Violetta
