We have them in Germany too (Lidl) and I tried them. They were actually a lot better than I suspected. I did, however, boil them first and then in the pan. Topped them off with some Sour Cream and a "rue" made with paprika powder. You could also juts heat some oil with paprika powder and drizzle it on top. Try it, you might like it!
