pierre calogero is an artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. He cites geometry, colors, and the search for harmony as being the main themes of his artistic practice. Calogero's bold abstractions are created with natural pigments mixed with acrylic binders and water. He also employs brushes and squeegees, working the surface of his canvases with crumpled paper because, for him, the relationships of density, materiality, brightness, or mattness between colored surfaces are essential.
