If Luka was black , none of these things would've been said . It's the same way with Dirk . He needed to carry a whole organization to a ring to get his respect , while others were considered monsters when they won the easiest way possible , by building super teams . Dmills had a great analogy with the Kawhi v Giannis comparison. Kawhi in his prime was definitely less dominate than 2019 Giannis, but he was damn close, and in those crunch time moments he could get you a bucket, as opposed to Giannis who especially back then, needed someone to close out games for him.

Luka statistically had the best rookie year ever at 21pts 8rbs and 6ast beating lebron in all of them and Tyreke Evans had a pretty good rookie year. They're not even in the same class and that was a terrible take.
