Piers Morgan Reacts To Madonna's "Terrifying" Grammys Look 

Ageism and misogyny has nothing to do with it. She just can't deal with getting older and is willing to do anything to try to stay in the public eye.

She's accusing people of being "ageist", yet who's the one trying to stop age in its tracks? She has an irrational fear of aging and she's afraid to be lumped in with the group of people her same age. She is literally the "ageist" she speaks of. 😆

It's neither ageism or misogyny. She chose to destroy her face and people have noticed it. Simple as that.

Her look wouldn't bother me if I thought she was a good person inside. But I believe it's perfectly reflective of her true self.

Audrey Heburn, Rita Moreno, Leslie Caron, Sophia Loren, Julie Andews all aged gracefully among others.

The Grammy Awards was like a freak show - with those attending too cowardly /too terrified to show revulsion .

I’m 🇺🇸 and a 46 female. I absolutely loved Madonna back in the day. Saw her in concert on her Blond Ambition tour in L.A., CA. Loved her. She is a legend. I can say, I was shocked when I saw her face. Cringed too bc she was gorgeous at one time. We all age but she has snatched face up so hard that she looks like an alien.

It saddens me greatly seeing my pop idol ruining her face. She can't complain about 'ageism' when she's the one who has a problem with aging.

Her narcissism is running rampant. She's just gross now. I'm also so sick of people yelling "misogyny" just because they receive criticism.

People know she is not 40 years old. There is a difference of wanting to look younger to be appreciated and noticed. However, she took it to a level where she is almost unrecognizable unless she is introduced. She did something to get attention but in a wrong way. She changed her looks, she changed her mentality, she changed her persona - that may be difficult to accept from her fans. She does not have to do anything to be appreciated, to be loved, to be liked and to be accepted. I may be wrong of saying, she is not the person she thinks.

It's fair (not shaming, not ageism, not misogyny) to comment when we are all shocked by the appearance of an artist we have watched and adored (or perhaps not) for decades. Her appearance is odd and worrisome. She has a dysmorphia, something is not right. She is mother to still young kids. Something is not right. It is not ageism to comment! It is HONEST.

I don't think one should ever be mean about how someone looks, but she has changed beyond recognition and people will talk about that.

What happened to growing old gracefully? Madonna is an extreme example but most of the Hollywood actors are at it. A lot can hardly move their faces. This plastic surgery trend is just people living in denial about their age.

There are many who have disfigured their faces in the vain attempt to look young when in reality they look ridiculous. Growing old gracefully is beautiful and in doing so they remain true icons. Madonna, Cher, Burt Reynolds’s, Kenny Rogers, to name a few, have not done any favors to themselves.

She is 64 (same age as me) and while hats off to all people that try and remain youthful in spirit and kudos to her for wanting to shock ppl by whatever means she wants to, the reality is that she must expect ppl to disagree and criticize her. If you step out and do things and especially things that are aimed to shock then you must expect some level of backlash.
