I think the photo wanted to reassure the public that Kate is on her way to recovery....and was well-intentioned. But, after a serious op and her being very thin, even before the op, she may have lost even more weight and, obviously it takes quite some time with care and eating to try to put the weight back on. So as it is understandable, she does not want to add more fuel to the fire by people seeing her looking ill and very thin. I myself, had a serious stomach op and lost a lot of weight, not even wanting to eat. But with time and slowly feeling better, my health returned and the weight also. So I fully empathize with Kate and people should be patient and actually be more humane in realizing what she is going through. Rosa Larsen

Has anyone considered that Catherine is very ill and she doesn’t want her young children to worry they may lose their mother?
