Pietermaritzburg - The City of Choice 

Sadly its become a city of filth and potholes, i suppose its a south african problem, i know they always say we in the natal midlands, to me thats not true, the midlands start from cedara up towards howick and beyond, we are on the western rim of the valley of a thousand hills! Our climate also differant from the Kzn midlands, the midlands get very cold in winter, even snow fall in the kzn midlands, maritzburg never get any snow, i know people that live in the real kzn midlands and they say its to warm and humid down here, lol so we stuck between the Ocean and the Kzn midlands! kind of coastal interior, but most defo not proper Kzn midlands area, even our vegetation is differant from the kzn midlands, tropical plants grow here that would not grow in the Kzn midlands!
