wow, the thumbnail says it sounds ridiculous....ridiculously cool!! That performance was great...a dark hypnotic industrial jam. I realized as you began that the rotating platform creates a sort of sequencer that triggers each sound in turn. Awesome!!
this was amazing. would have liked to have seen in-depth how you processed the sounds. It sounded like there was some samples being triggered as well as the processing
I've been a traditional hip hop producer/beatmaker for the last 2 decades, but the genre isn't what it used to be, and I rarely listen to anything rap related anymore. I ultimately lost my creativity while making anything hip hop related. I've been leaning into experimental ambient type music, and this is right up my alley. I've been working in the box up until the past few months, and I'm trying to build a mostly dawless setup. I'm tired of using a mouse to make music. I really wish I could just sell the thousands of dollars in software that I've bought, but software companies aren't very cool when it comes to reselling their products. Which I feel is unethical. I really wish I would have read the fine print before I bought most of the stuff I have. I probably use 5% of the software that I have. The only thing about hardware is figuring out what to get, because I'm not rich, and I want to make smart purchases. I have a Minilogue XD, MPC Live 2, Novation Launchkey, Zoom R24, and some mics, and a looper delay FX pedal called Grand Canyon by Electro-Harmonix. I'm stuck on what I should get next. I have 6-7 hundred to invest, and I'm not sure if I should get a MicroFreak and another pedal, some of the Korg Volcas, some of the Behringer gear, or get one of the Korg digital synths like the WaveState, Opsix, or ModWave. I was also looking at Blofeld's and Dreadbox's. I know this is long, so I'm not sure if anyone will read this, but I'm open to experienced opinions.
