Love Pig Destroyer! Finally got to see them this past spring at Hell In The Harbor Fest in Baltimore. It was my anniversary weekend so me wife and I drove from Michigan because seeing Pig Destroyer was a bucket list item for both of us. I'm not much of a color vinyl guy but my favorites are ones that look black until you hold it up to the light. It's like a secret color or something. If you ever hear people say color pressings don't sound as good it's because they used to often not and mostly it was mostly a matter of more surface noise. It started to get better around 10 years ago so that record is old enough it might be from before they improved the process. Back then I used to think Relapse in particular had a lot of sub par pressings (they also have gotten a lot better since). With white vinyl and clear colors I tend have problems seeing dust which makes it difficult clean. Basically I'm saying I wouldn't be surprised to hear that just isn't a good pressing, but what are you gonna do? It's Pig Destroyer and an original so you gotta have it. Glad to hear someone else praising Head Cage. I love it, but it doesn't seem to get a lot of love. I feel like it's because Pig Destroyer are one of those bands that set the bar so high for themselves with the first few that sometimes it takes a while for later releases to feel like they compare. Great video! Thanks for posting.
Good morning. I have a question for you. I'm a big fluids fan (minus some of the nasty hip hop stuff as of late). I'm listening to Cellar Fluids and wondering if this is another side project. The only info on the band is that they're from Georgia. Fluids is from Phoenix primarily.
