Sweet video! I've only seen three white phase in my life, 2 here in NW WI, and on in far NW MN. Have the one mounted, has a blue/grey inner tail and one little blue wing feather.
So, what was the record...417?? One day, two years ago, a buddy and I shot 503 pigeons. We fired a total of 1000 shells to do it (four cases). We both had headaches and were literally beat up at the end of the day, even though we both shot 20ga. autoloaders. Since then we limit our shells to 300 apiece, and most days we kill 300+ birds. We use spinning-wing devices controlled by foot switches, and homemade decoys. I'd rather shoot pigeons than anything else.
I know pigeons always inhabit dairy farms but I've never seen them in the numbers you re finding. How do that many pigeons find nesting ares? They don't nest in trees and need buildings, barns etc. in order to nest. Where are they nesting in your area? Thanks.
It was a pigeon that someone raised they were either racing it or they just were timing it to see how fast it would get back to there home from were ever they set it loose. Look up homing pigeons the'll come back pretty much from were ever you can live in Maine let them loose in Texas and the'll come back to there home in maine. I hope that answered you question lol
I live in Minnesota also hunt too and this is gluttony at its finest take your share and leave losers, guns were not made for sport get a hobby I’m sick of these type of people
