Thanks for the review! I e wondered about that hotel. We love the Apple Barn and eat there and shop every time we are there. Great to know another alternative to consider.
Dude,It's been around 12 yrs ago when we stayed there. The whole Mountains were booked up and the kids really wanted to stay 1 more night. We had been in a cabin over looking Gatlinburg for 5 days. My in laws were with us and they said if we see a vacancy sign on the way out he would pay for us all 1 last night. This was the first one we came to. I am pretty positive we stayed on the top floor and we had the last 2 rooms at the end by the parkway. They were across the hall from each other. The river side one was a Honeymoon suite with a red jacuzzi. Across the hall was a double queen. We stayed in it with a cot for our 3 kids. The staff was very nice and did everything we needed quickly and friendly. It was super cheap back then too. New owners had just taken over. It looks like it has gotten a nice makeover and upgrade since we were there. I agree though,Great place. Happy Belated Anniversary to you both!
We always stayed at the Ramada Inn (With Blue Roof) past the Titanic on the left side of the road heading towards Gatlinburg, their prices have gotten so outrageous at that Ramada Inn so we'll be hunting another place to stay in the future. Another great one, Thanks, Stay Safe 👍👍💖💖
Happy Anniversary to you both. I like an elevator and a hallway with windows. The hotel and your room looked very nice. It is always fun to see wild life. Clean socks after walking on the carpet is a plus.
We really like staying at Hidden Mountain Resort when we go up there. This Inn looks decent but room too small for the money imo. Hope ya'll had a nice 16th Anniversary!
I booked here since all the AirBNBs wanted $100+ cleaning fees (why wasn't it this way last spring??) Anyway this alleviated my concerns over cleanliness or other lack of care.
@@TheWonderingWeasel You're welcome :) The last hotel I stayed in was a cleanliness nightmare…I booked two nights there and asked for a refund for the second night I was so disgusted :/
@@TheWonderingWeasel Perhaps next time I could look at a crime map for the address of a hotel…that last one was apparently in the middle of a drug infested area
Thank you so much! I'd say the traffic count on that bridge us up there!! I didn't actually try their breakfast, so I can't give you a review, but other guests said it was average. Thanks so much for watching!
