I think for Cornys best interest, it’s worth getting him some girls. It may help lessen his aggression towards everyone else. I would love to watch and see how it works out. I would love to see Cornholio have some female companions again. I remember how devastated he was when he lost Gloria, and I don't think that he ever fully recovered from that loss. He just seems so lonely.

I’m all for getting Cornholio some ladies. Anytime you take on new babies, there’s always a chance of something happening to them, but it would be worth seeing Corny happy and fulfilled again.😊

The grass looks good. I know you have had problems with parasites. Whatever you and LE are doing is working well. You are so calm with the animals.❤ I love all the different birds and Okey-dokey he’s so gentle. All the other alpacas run away and he runs to you.
Megan and LE truly amazing and special you both are to all those animals. They are so lucky, breaks my heart for corny, cause I know he’s had a handful of ladies over the years. but you both will always make sure and do what’s best for the health and safety of all your animals in my prayers for this upcoming few days love my farm family❤❤❤❤❤❤

I love that all the animals in the sanctuary (and on Morrow Hill in general) have a lot of space and access to green pastures. I do see al lot of other farms and homesteads where too many animals are kept in far too small pens with no grass and their feet on the dirt all the time. I don´t judge, they may live a good life just as well. I just love seeing your animals having lots of space and green pastures. Piggles is such a cutie with a cute name. I wish you some good rain without any flooding in the coming days.

The grass looks like out could be cut every two to three days. Growing faster than weeds. Lester had Jami cutting the grass in the pasture at LHL She was on the tractor with the bush hog attached. Every time she went over a big bump, her butt came off the seat, turning off the tractor. Her body was still kind of vibrating after getting off. She had to sit down on the 4 x 4 to recover before she went to do more work.
Hey, Megan! Love the name you have chosen for the little piglet! He's really cute! I can't decide if you should get some female turkeys or not. I see 2 sides to this, on one hand Corny is lonely and probably needs some female turkeys. On the hand, it's like you said they do wander and you have predators as well. That baby piggy needs to be in a designated area w his water to lay in at all times because his body needs alot of cooling to survive the heat! That's what happened to Jake's pig couple yrs ago and with your piggy so young he definitely needs cool water at all times!
Hi Megan. Love the little baby pig. It’s sooo cute. According to Lester LE’s been working hard getting Lex ready for football camp. That’s hard work on top of everything else y’all need to get done everyday with the animals and chores, etc.

You and LE live your life and your sanctuary as you see fit. But when you ask for opinions people are going to give them. Which can be helpful for sure. I’m all about other people’s opinions. But people should be nice and respectful about stating their opinion. I love Piggles. I had a quinea pig who we named Piggles. ❤
I'd say it's entirely up to you on the female turkeys,if you think its more fortified and you think they're safer then why not, Corny deserves another chance for a mate💜 keep your eyes on the skies, it sounds like Beryl is coming more your way, hope you can get mowed before the rain, otherwise it will be to wet. Lester & Jami used to have female turkeys, but I do believe predators got them. My suggestion is to contact a regular turkey farmer and see how they handle their female flock. If there is a way to keep the females within a protected area, I don't see why Cornholeo can't have himself a couple of new girlfriends.

He is a cute little 🐖 pig. You might want to make sure you keep him in the pasture and not let him get to where he shouldn't go. I saw in one of Jake's videos that he rescued Mr pigglesworth and Phoebe that were not in a good location by themselves. Just being concerned that's all 😊

Mr. Pigglesworth is a cute name! Corny's track record with the girls really hasn't been great. If you decide to get him some new girls, clipping their wings might be the way to go, now that there's a lot more protection. Definitely not an easy decision. Megan, you can also look into giving the dogs valerian - unless they are having stomach issues as the valerian could make them worse. That's what I gave my girl until last december, when I decided to try the CBD. I gave her the high dosage pills (800 mg) that you can get at every drugstore (at least here), that are meant as a sleeping aid and are 100% valerian root. Only problem is that the extractant (I think that's what its called) is almost always alcohol. They however worked really well for NYE and they are definitely not as expensive as the CBD. Lavendar is also supposed to have a calming effect can't say anything about that though. I learned that my dog is allergic to it after she almost died the one time I tried a lavender oil based tick/flea/mite repellent, that you rub into the fur.

I think it is a great idea to get Cornholeo a couple ladies. Poor guy has only had bad experiences with his ladies. So sad. Long story short, the only friend he has had in a while is a pair of shoes. Lately that seems to be nil to none now that Lester and his shoes don't live there snymore.
I have tried to keep turkeys thru the years and they are not easy to raise. They just seem to wait until they are half grown to die. They wouldnt die all at once it was like planned. Hey the human thinks she has got us raised, so tomorrow we start dying. You go first, then in about 3 weeks one of you others just die for no reason. Its horrible when you really like your turkeys and they just start it.
I love your new little piggy! I sure do miss my piggies. 2 names came to my mind when I first saw your new addition, to me he looks like a Percy or a Rusty! Whatever you name him it's going to be cute and fitting I'm sure of!☺️🐽🐷

Get girl turkeys to for him, but when not breeding time is over move the female turkeys in a place where the predators can't get to them. Along with the babies.
Please don’t take this the wrong way, but if a female turkey would wander around anyway, I’d still take the chance. After all the work y’all have done to improve the safety of the babies, picking the choice of them living their best lives is always the best decision. Get Corny some friends.😊❤
Just wondering do the bunny have a way to get to water they need lots of water in the extreme heat they can dry easily and chicken, paw paw is gettibg stuff ready incase it hit harder there movibg trailer gmextra gas just getting prepared stay safe
I say give it a shot. Try to find girls that a breeding age. Start with them for a month or so to make them at home. Maybe let cornie have some Visitation until they feel this is home. Good luck
