@@napsguns "Hunting" should be ethically, here we have actual "Self Defence by killing" in focus and that requires cost considerations too (bucks per 1,000ds of rounds)

@euro-hawk-221 this is NOT "hunting." It's the eradication of an invasive species that causes hundreds of millions of dollars in damage to crops and property. Such cost is passed on to the consumer in higher purchase prices and less availability of goods.

why farmer does not close the holes under the fence , so pig cannot get inside ?

Solid question. Besides the extremely high cost of surrounding thousands of acres with fencing, heavy rains will create washouts under the fence. Several other things will occur allowing them to still pass through the fence.
