I have the Philosophers Tone 1 and if the pedal is just the same good as the previous one, it's already excelent

No, the grit circuit is in series after the compression!

@@PigtronixPedals Thank you for your reply. Can we have a bass demo please? I have seen some old "Philoshoper Bass Compressor" demos which I really like (the grit seems parallel on that one), but I am not sure how this new product compares :)
