I thought I finally found my Pika Girl but when the pokeball popped open, it was GPF! 🐥 Out now S3RL.link/Pika... GPF / therealgpf S3RL s3rl.link Video by Walras - linktr.ee/walras
I don't understand why the last collab with GPF got almost no hate, while this one is getting ALL the hate. What changed? I mean I'm not personally a fan of the earrape, but just confused at seeing the comments on Come Inside vs this
@@Djuncle 1 of 10 songs the comb is good (for example cum say henlo)... but the rest i had disliked and never heared again (or just removed the GPF part beacuse the rest was great) - and i hear a lot of S3RL music because i love them xD
@@wiese2007I feel this, Come Inside is a great song but I had to default to a version that had the ear destroying bass edited out simply because my brain couldn't deal with it.
@@hasaznasa Its called uptempo. And the part you dont like isnt a very liked genre, but to the ones that do like it (I am part of it) it hits hard. The part you dont like isnt even made by S3RL its made my GPF.
It's not the first time they collaborated. They have two other songs together and at first I was like you but then I got used to it and now I love Uptempo.
I was listening to this last night, I was feeling relaxed, and when the GPF's drop came in, I jumped! It’s the first time I’ve gotten startled while listening to music, but I still love it!
The original was goated, this ain't bad, the bass boosted earrape is annoying though, so it's got nothing on the original. Either way, it's a s3rl upload, so I'm gear to listen
OH NO 😥... But in all seriousness - thanks for working with us on this tune. We know it's an important one to you and to a lot of people worldwide, so it means a lot that you didn't mind us adding our Greaziness to it ♥
Reading a lot of comments about how saying the first version is better. I think it's fine to have a preference, but all of the comments are super negative and not constructive at all. If you saw GPF in the title and didn't anticipate their style to be in this song then that's on you. (This is not the first time they have collab'd) Their style is definitely niche and I'm sure fans of GPF will be loving this. I hope both S3RL and GPF don't let the negativity get to them. While the style isn't something I listen too, I enjoyed the MV that was produced along side this, really matches the energy
I did not know about GPF until this video. It seems like a lot of other people are in the same boat. Can you explain who they are and what their role is in the scene rn?
It happends at times when two artist collabs and the fans of one dont know anything about the other. So you get schisms like this. No hate from GPF at all! Though something I personally wouldnt listen to.
@@borgwardd24He is a producer of the uptempo genre. A genre of hardcore techno that is characterized by having rough kick, with influences of rawstyle and other genres of hardcore and be faster around 185 - 220 bpm.
@@fallenraven13g because S3RL clearly likes them? You people just gotta accept this simple fact - even if you hate something, even if you consider it only a noise, taste is subjective and your opinion isn't the one true reality.
@@VandashStumpedKnee no!! Haha. I meant the original pika girl is the first song of s3rl i heard!! Which eas like more than 5 years ago.. have been a fan ever since
you know i used to hate the whole eardestroyercore but it almost makes every other sound better due to how much shellshock it causes. although, still blows out the ears, good with the bad and all that
The essence that made S3rl my favorite DJ is that he understands melody. In each piece no matter how hardcore or techno it is, the melody and sometimes it's rhythmic changes tell a story that give the piece a soul. This is just a shallow Tekk remix without any soul.
I'm stunned. I was just thinking how cool it would be if S3RL did a remix of his classic song Pika Girl but thought it would never happen. Not only is this a remix of one of his classic songs, but the exact song I was thinking of.
This is "just" a remake, but this song is so cool. I love it as much as the old one. Now we have two great versions of a legendary song. thank you s3rl for always making such good music ^^
I really enjoy this tbh, there's something fun about the wall of sound. Its a full body experience that brings you somewhere else. I think its fine for people to not like it but I think its important to remember someone did make this, spent time on it, put effort into it.
@@RedPMD Its called uptempo. And the part you dont like isnt a very liked genre, but to the ones that do like it (I am part of it) it hits hard. The part you dont like isnt even made by S3RL its made my GPF. And dont call this effortless ear rape... like you could do better anyways.
I'm so happy that you realeased a remix of one your old and best songs!! I discovered the original version in 2016. I love the eletronic singing voice, it sounds so old school, it gives nostalgia! It's so cool to give another life to an old song, even if it will never be forgotten!
I certainly prefer the OG version, but I am glad to see that S3RL is still making songs and the community and love for his music is strong. Keep up the good work!
I was just listening to the original earlier as it came up on my playlist so then I searched the song up and suddenly S3RL made a remix not so long ago it’s insane
Holy shit, I was thinking about this song when looking at RU-vid notifications and lo and behold, they came out with a new version of this S3RL classic 😊
