Shame that poor pike has been caught so many times this year and has been loosing weight. I hope your video doesn’t encourage even more pressure on the area. Only last week was a prior capture of the fish got slaughtered on Facebook for not blurring the background.
Hi Mark That swim the other side from where you are in the video I think you're next to neeps Bridge on black drove started fishing there in late 97first session I had 3 doubles all in the 10's and as it it got dark had a 21.10 subsequent trips were fairly quiet and then a few weeks later had a 21.14 same swim different fish to the 21.10 Went very quiet after that so started fishing down towards the 3 holes end of the drain and had a 23.07.My brother had a 16 as well.I caught a few smallish zander in the same area started going back towards neeps again my mate had a good fish just under 20 and then one day I was near mortons bridge the next one towards King's Lynn from neeps and had a 19.04 also on another day at Mormons hooked and lost a really powerful fish which I never saw they are probably the highlights from the middle level definitely got harder over the years and I think the fish do move when they feel pressured plenty of places to go in the 12 miles it runs for and as you know very deep in the centre channel for a drain Interesting you catch most of your fish on/near the marginal shelf as I always had fish in the centre deep channel.I think the mitten crabs are having an effect on the fish stocks Good luck with your future fishing ventures Steve
